Rabbits are a sustainable and self-sufficient source of meat, and if this idea bothers you, that's unfortunate. They're just another common farm animal like a chicken or cow, and I adore them for every aspect, including how delicious they are.
Currently I raise rabbits, chickens, ducks, turkeys, mice, and mealworms, and grow as much of my own produce as I can. I've had rabbits since 2009, bred them since 2012, and been gradually expanding since then.
