a lot of people have asked for my art blog. while i’m flattered by how many people have shown interest, i have a few reasons i can’t/don’t want to give it away. a lot of the art i did was intentionally out of style so not to be recognizable. brandon’s fursona wasn’t even drawn by me! i’m not sure if anyone would be interested in my real art for that reason.
i also feel weird using this blog for personal gain. i’d rather earn interest in my art by working hard and being genuine.

Hey, I’m David, I live in a “LGBT” shelter, and they’re threatening to kick me out.
As you might assume this post is a call for help! Moving on to the bad shit.
The “LGBT” is in quotes because really, it’s just a gay shelter. Bi people? Might as well don’t exist. Lesbians, afaik, are harassed until they leave. And I’m the first trans guy here! And probably the last, or at least I really hope so. Because they’re transphobic as all hell here. I don’t wish for any trans people to be housed by this shelter and live what I’ve lived.
And on top of that, I took the unlucky decision (/obvious sarcasm) to be disabled. I can’t work. Believe me, I tried. I had a job that was supposed to last 5 weeks. I could hardly last one week. But this shelter is constantly mocking me or even sometimes insulting me for being jobless. Because obviously, it’s a choice! I have weekly breakdowns, I have to spend entire days in bed without coming out of my room, but I do it on purpose, you see. Or at least that’s what they claim.
Today, the man in charge of this shelter came to visit me and my roommates. He immediately scolded me for being in bed at 10am. I told him I got diagnosed with salmonella and bronchitis the day before and that I needed rest, that was literally what my doctor told me. He ignored it, and then proceeded to tell “us”, while looking me straight in the eyes, that “they get 3 demands (for housing) per day lately”. And that “people who don’t respect the rules don’t deserve to be housed by them”. You know, while staring at me when there were 4 people in the room.
They’ve been pushing me for two months now to leave. They keep giving me contacts for medical instances where I don’t belong, saying I “would live more comfortably in these places”, because you know, these are places with shrimps and doctors and nurses around you 24/7 and you have no right. Not exactly mental wards, but almost. They force me to apply to these places, then yell at me when I don’t get accepted in.
A friend is suggesting to house me as soon as he can afford to buy a couch for his apartment. Which…Is very speaking, in itself? My bank account currently shows a real pretty negative 150€. I can’t go further than that, anyway. I’m not going to get paid again in… Three weeks? If the organism that pays me doesn’t fuck up again and actually pays what they’re supposed to pay me, which they didn’t do this month.
My story is a pile of disasters that keeps adding up onto each other, but the bottom line is, I’m going to end up homeless again sooner or later. Should I mention that my parents kicked me out last year and I haven’t been in contact with them since? That’s… Also a thing.

i’m 20 and disabled/can’t currently work. i’m also trans and suffer from a lot of bottom dysphoria that greatly impacts my mental health.
i’m currently trying to raise money to buy one of those fancy ass prosthetic packers. i’m pretty broke and have a lot of other concerns money wise right now, but i think this is something i really need to be happy and healthy.

hi again!! because of my disability i cant wear regular binders without seriously hurting myself. ive found a company that makes custom binders for disabled people and id love to get one. unfortunately thats gonna be another 30 dollars plus shipping.

What touched you the most during the course of this journey?
I’ve talked a lot about how amazing people were. I would like to stop and mention something I haven’t yet!
I had quite a few people message me privately about how they were originally making fun of Spencer but now wished him the best. A lot of these people were people I hadn’t interacted directly with, at all.
They could have easily just kept to themselves, but they didn’t. If you’re one of those people, I think it’s really big of you that you’re able to admit to something like that and be such a good sport about it. I think it really shows a great sign of maturity!!
My boyfriend just got an eviction notice.

@eaerth Hope you don’t mind I respond to you this way, I don’t feel like reblogging the whole Q&A post. I can’t make you trust me when I say who I really am. I could tell you, in depth, all about my life, and there would be absolutely no reason to believe me at all. This is the internet and everything has the potential of being fake. I can only say that I am telling only the truth and nothing but the truth when I say who I really am. I am answering every question I receive with open honesty. I don’t know what I would gain from lying about who I really am. I want to create an open and honest discussion about what this blog was with anyone who is interested or needs it. My intentions were never, /ever/ to manipulate people. I wasn’t actively seeking the kindness I received and have stated before that not only was I expecting nothing but hate, I was also completely ill equipped to handle any positivity. I tried my hardest to handle that attention I received, but I acknowledge I could have done better. My deepest and most profound apologies go to anyone who feels they were manipulated or is hurt. I can’t even begin to express how deeply humbled I was by all the people who were showing me that genuine kindness. whats your opinion on actual MOGAI?
That’s a can of worms I’m going to try to open gently. I’m far removed from current MOGAI discourse. I haven’t looked into it much since like... 2014. I know a few things but not much. I don’t really know what the conversation looks like now and I try to keep away from it. Any MOGAI talk was largely based off a different era of discourse. I know microidentities are helpful for some people. For me personally, microidentities were harmful. I was a young teen who spent a lot of time trying to figure out his gender and sexuality. It took me years to comfortably say who I am today without doubt. I don’t think there’s ever going to be a stop to MOGAI and those who identify with it, but the community absolutely needs to recognize how it might be impacting questioning kids, traumatized people, and those who experience compulsory heterosexuality.
do you feel bad about playing with peoples emotions, even long after the point where you realized they were not only taking it seriously, but were invested and concerned, even scared for this fake person?
I felt incredibly guilty and nervous about how people ended up taking this whole thing. I kept texting my friends how I wanted people to just go back to sending me death threats!!!
That’s really why I ended up going down the path of recovery because I didn’t want anyone to worry about this fictional character.
I NEVER expected the kindness and love Spencer received and I was completely unprepared to handle it. I’m so sorry.
what did anthony die from? also, if you had stuck with your original plan and had anthony die from rabies, how would spencer have reacted?
I imagined just something like a car crash. Something spontaneous but likely enough to not be considered a freak accident.
Anthony was originally going to die like, 3 days into the blog. Anyone who remembers Spencer from that early on knows he was very crytype-y and impulsive. He probably would have responded to the incident with panic and guilt.
