…a great deal of snow! This odd winter still has us in its grip! 16 degrees below freezing today, but with the wind it really gets bitter cold.
There were some mergansers down in the Falls, I wanted to have a look at them even though I didn’t have my ‘real’ camera. The snow was icy underneath, I was slipping and sliding.

This morning, I think I can say they cold is gone *fingers crossed*. I thought the same thing yesterday morning, but it made a come-back. In any event, I’ve stayed at home for these last, few days. It’s been bitter cold also. Less so today, we had flurries overnight and the temperature went up a bit.

Sun is finally up. At first it turned this whole neighbourhood pink! It’s twelve degrees below freezing. Didn’t sleep much. This cold has turned my head into a pounding mass of thick something. The nasal tissue is so swollen so I guess I slept with my mouth open, which in turn made it feel like parchment. I used to brag about my immune defence! Guess it came back to bite me in the tail.
