A year after it got cancelled due to Covid, I finally managed to go for my makeover and photoshoot with the lovely Cindy at Boys Will Be Girls. I can't tell you how happy I am to finally be one of Cindy's 'girls'! I had an amazing time, we did 3 different looks and she took literally hundreds of pictures. I can't recommend her service highly enough - if you're in the UK it would be well worth treating yourself.

I guess you can call this a "Pandemic Performance", because this is me in my sweatpants playing a song I literally just wrote two days ago. This is probably my fourth time playing it all the way through. I'll admit right off the bat that I'm not an accomplished guitarist, so forgive my sad skills in that area. However, I do consider myself somewhat of a songwriter. In terms of song quality, what do you think? Considering its raw and early form, do you like it?

Here's another picture from my archives - this from a night out at The Wayout Club in London some 20 years ago - me on the right, with a lovely girl who I only met the once, sadly. Pre- Social Media, so "adding friends" was much harder those days! I always enjoyed The Wayout on the few occasions I went - always full of such a diverse mix of people, young and old, first-timers or experienced girls. One minute you could be chatting to a 'runway model', the next to someone who looked liked your Aunty Mavis! (Nowadays, that's me 🤣)

No-one cared, it was more than enough to be 'you', even if just for a few hours. Happy days... hopefully back with us soon! Until then, stay safe 💋

Worked on my face & eyes for 90 minutes this afternoon b/c I wanted a pic in my St. Patty's Day dress. Just shows you, with a lot of effort, and time, things can turn out ok! But I still think my foundation & concealer are too light... 💋💋💋

Since Covid, we have been engaged in an intense competition over who is the best at loving the other. She loves me every waking hour. However, I do that, too, plus I love her in my dreams. I think that gives me the edge and I should be pronounced the clear winner.
