On our first "day" of travels, we have accomplished much! 17+ hours of travel- Pasco to Seattle(I thought SeaTac was big) Seattle to Amsterdam (Then I saw Amsterdam airport. Wow, what a line to get through the passport check line!!) Amsterdam to Madrid (The one where we had turbulence and I got incredibly sick! I wish I had had more time to go out of the airport and actually see the city, but alas we only got to see our little corner of the airport--still beautiful though! It was overcast and a little rainy and the air was so wonderful after being in a plane for twn hours. I paid $7 for a Starbucks drink, and was sad to see that money go away, but the drink was a lot better than any American Starbucks! And the Starbucks in the airport itself was just beautiful. I am still getting over being extremely sick on the last flight, but I'm sure I'll feel amazing after a full nights rest--since I've been awake for about 31 hours straight. I will hopefully have a chance to get on here every few days, but for now I'm off! Tomorrow we experience our church in Spain! I'm excited. 😊
