I stopped playing genshin recently, but that doesn't mean I'll stop loving ScaraLumiāIn fact, in the future historians will dig up my personal belongs, and just find a LOT fanart, writings, stories, and maybe even figurines, of just these two. Genshin impact will be long forgotten, lost to time, but these two? I'll NEVER shut up about them.
(Until the sun and universe explode, or maybe I'll launch it very far into space so they can find themselves in another universe, where our distant space siblings will dedicate their lives and teams to figuring out what the hell these two are, they'll probably think religious figures.. and they are to me.. /half joke.. am I insane?)
You can't convince me Wanderer isn't the 3rd or ATLEAST honorary main character of Genshin Impact. I'm not even being crazy.
We bump into him like EVERY yearānot randomly, he plays important parts MULTIPLE times. I think 2 major events, he plays a big part in another, 4 regions, 8 archon quests, (I might have that counted wrong) and he also gave us some lore drops. (Nod-krai is the final time we'll see a huge role for him though, but maybe he'll pop up in Snezhnaya to say hello for a second)
He and the traveler have a long, complicated, but also intimate connection/friendship that didn't just kick off at the first sign of friendliness, and feels well earned. They know what the other is thinking without the other saying it. Traveler didn't like him and he didn't like Traveler, then one day they were holding hands entrusting eachother with their lives. (Whether or not you see it as Platonic or Romantic, they definitely have a strong care for eachother)
He's clearly the writers favorite, his story played out over long years, instead of just short months or after his release, never to be important again. His redemption wasn't immediate and entirely blamed on Dottore.
He's also the devs favorite, he has THREE different designs that all have the same equal amount of love and passion put into them, the details and symbolism is INSANE, one of the best boss themes, and he's the first character to (actually) fly, we get to NAME him, and he even gets a combo attack with Traveler. ALL HE NEEDS TO TRULY CEMENT THE FAVORITISM IS A SKIN.
(He and the traveler also just UNINTENTIONALLY match, like clothes, colors, attacks..... or maybe it's intentional.)
Just make him officially apart of the group, take him on your alien adventures, his life-span and durability isn't a problem.

I'm not even trying to be delusional, but what other character does this?? Dainsleif comes by often, but he isn't around for long, other characters were forgotten after their release, and some characters that did come back to play a big role got abandoned after that aswell.
Genshin, just him travel with Aether/Lumine, you KNOW you want to. Sure, he's my favorite character, but he's my favorite character for good reasons.
