Okay this is going to sound a little silly... but I think I actually experienced inner peace today. I was in yoga, meditating, after a long class and usually I just kinda lay there and relax. But today I was thinking about colors cause I have a theory that my third eye is indigo. And I felt this strong sense of magenta almost, but not quite. And it was so fucking pretty. I felt the color. And the music was beautiful in the background. And as I thought about all of this I saw this field almost, and I imagined my life in it. In one of those old film cliche ways, with girls with their hands thrown out to their sides and clips of laughter and big smiles and the ocean crashing and the flowers in the sunlight. And I just felt so calm. So magenta. So free. And I think thatās what peace feels like. I felt peace.

Lovely prep work from š©āš³ @theplantedone . planted prep! šæ . this mid-summer prep is full of raw foods, LOADS of salads, all the seasonal colours and quick meals that donāt require too much heat⦠in this heat! . āļøwake up: warm water + lemon - pre-squeezed lemon juice (roughly 2 tbsp) all I have to do is add water and⦠CHUG! hydrates and gets things going first thing in the AM! . šbreakfast: There are so many things in season itās hard not to eat the rainbow these days! So I decided to make some summer ombre vanilla chia puddings! Layered with pineapple, apricots, peaches and raspberries! For my grab and go breakfast I made my nut butter fruit cups with the left over raspberries and apricots! With a sprinkle of blubs! They are delish! Along with my go-to green goddess smoothie (not pictured!) . š„lunch: summer salads every. single. day! Created two very different rainbow salad combos. Along with TWO dressing recipes Iāve been dying to try from @thefirstmess cookbook. The first is the āCider + Sunflower Dressingā (pg.97) to go with the spinach based salad. And the second her 'Oil-Free Sundried Tomato + Oregano Dressingā to go with the quinoa based salad. Iāve tried both and lets just say⦠Iām super excited to eat my lunches this week! . š„dinner: So many options! The first is my second attempt at a sweet potato crust pizza. Topped with peppers, red onion, zucchini, tomatoes and a cashew cheese sauce. I was also craving some rainbow maki, so I made a batch and tossed in some @liveorganicfood kimchi. Itās better then 'spicy mayoā and better for you gut! š Finally, I tried @thefirstmess Eggplant bacon šš» and I will be making BLT sandwiches on @littlenorthernbakehouse bread. Paired with @meghantelpner I
