I would be remised if I let this moment go, the time has come to take a stand for what is right. The horrific act that took place on Sunday was not right. No one deserves what happened to Bubba and it is time to put that foolishness and ignorance behind us. I love what Bubba stands for and for that I will continue to stand with Bubba.

I am extremely proud of NASCAR. It reminds me of why I fell in love with NASCAR. But yesterday’s horrible act is still a reminder of how far we have to go. I stand with Bubba today and every day in the fight to be treated equally as the majority. I am praying and waiting for the day where we don’t judge based on skin color but on the heart.
