I would be remised if I let this moment go, the time has come to take a stand for what is right. The horrific act that took place on Sunday was not right. No one deserves what happened to Bubba and it is time to put that foolishness and ignorance behind us. I love what Bubba stands for and for that I will continue to stand with Bubba.

There should come a day when we won’t have to say ”I stand with Bubba” or anyone of color because it will be natural and normal. It is easier to love than it is to hate, so, please everyone let’s love one another.

I am extremely proud of NASCAR. It reminds me of why I fell in love with NASCAR. But yesterday’s horrible act is still a reminder of how far we have to go. I stand with Bubba today and every day in the fight to be treated equally as the majority. I am praying and waiting for the day where we don’t judge based on skin color but on the heart. I love you Bubba, you have always been one of my favorite drivers!
