This is the first of many Jack’s Mannequin posts. This is the album that started it all. The first JM song I ever heard is called Dark Blue in 10th grade and I have been in love since then.

**I just want to be done with my last grad class and my thesis this week. I miss being creative. School has drained me over the past year and a half.One more week. One more paper. One half of my thesis to finish.

The first thing I am going to paint is this album cover. This is also my very first Tumblr post from 2012!  I can’t wait to witness this album live. My dream is for Andrew to sign my finished project at the show in January.

Guess who got presale tickets today? ME!! Even though the site said it was sold out, some crazy Jack’s Mannequin magic happened and I GOT TICKETS!!

I still can not grasp that I am going to witness this album in full. This is the album that changed me and saved me in more way than I can describe.

^^Please don’t assume that my tone in this response is angry, because it’s not. However, I feel that I should say something in regards to the last comment from jadeloveskalso.

What I wear does not make me a cross dresser. To cross dress I would have to wear clothes of the opposite sex, but lets be real here. I quit letting my genitalia define what I wear a looooooonnnnngggggg time ago. In other words, when it comes to my own gender expression,  I never crossed the binary gender line, I abandoned it completely.

To assume I cross dress is to assume that I am cisgender. That’s called misgendering someone. Again I am not angry, just a reminder. Xoxo

National Domestic Violence Awareness month AND Breast Cancer Awareness month are both October. Why? They need two separate months as they are both important issues. Everything is pink in October to support breast cancer and that is great, but what about purple for domestic violence? What about all the voiceless victims of domestic violence? Why aren’t there just as many purple items being sold as pink? Why don’t I see NFL players with purple shoes and wrist bands? Things that make me think...things that make me upset.

Tumblr Issues.

I follow a bunch of blogs that love Andrew McMahon and it is super awesome....but he is coming to Pittsburgh in TWO DAYS AND I HAVE NO ONE IN REAL LIFE THAT SHARES MY LOVE OF HIM TO GO WITH!! Also, Panic at the Disco is going and I have always wanted to see them live. I am one sad fan girl right now. Anyone willing to take a road trip? I promise you Pittsburgh is a great city :)
