2 options here: either decides that the way they used to be is "cringy" and tries to imitate the cishets, and/or gets a mental illness. if there was previously mental illness, it worsens (first year of high school)

because of this, gets into the whole mourning yearning phase. probably listens to mitski or the mountain goats, and definitely mcr. at this point if their distress is particularly acute they'll get into identity discourse (first-second year of high school)

questions and maybe changes identity again

develops crush on best friend that goes completely unreturned for a minimum of six months but up to 3 years (general high school)

becomes absolutely obsessed with moving out of their parent's house but at this point is sick of society, gets into the whole cottagecore aesthetic (second to last year)

i have a witchy question! months ago i cut off extremely toxic person out of my life. when i did it, i broke our friendship talisman, wrote some notes that basically were mantras to cut ties and for all the pain she caused me to go back. i put it with a broken talisman in a jar and forgot about it. i have a feeling that the fact that i didn't threw it away or buried somewhere like i originally intended, it keeps sucking my energy somehow. sounds crazy, but i feel like it does, [1/4]

I got you. My ~witchcraft~ is always associated with psychology and therapy methodology, so here we go!

Pack the jar full of salted dirt. Place a crystal associated with negativity repression on top (snowflake obsidian?). When its warmer, you can bury the talisman outside. Hold the jar in your palms and think warm and lovely thoughts about the positive parts of your friendship - fun memories, lessons you've learned, growth you experienced. Thank the talisman for its role in it, and think very clearly about how its job is done now, and it gets to rest. In its rest, request it preserves these positives from your old friendship and protects against anything from this bond that could harm the good work it's done. Place it somewhere quiet and dark. Congratulations, you've just created a ward against ~curses~ or negativity from your connection to this person.

Now, the gifts - thank them in the same way, as physical manifestations of the positives from this relationship.

Then, while taking a hot bath, drink a bunch of cool water. Think of the hot water as drawing those negative energies out of you, and the cold water flushing you clean with positive energies. You've taken back control of your bond with this person and have turned it into something healing and safe.

You should feel a lot less stressed and mentally drained, now.
