After the weather of the day before (rainy and gray), it was something of a pleasure to work in warm sunlight…though the contrast often left something to be desired. In this case, I was fortunate enough to have light on the correct side of the rock, and a perfect cloud in the sky to work with, compositionally. Erica was a fabulous model to work with, holding the pose while I explored the possibilities.
