still open to discussing plots and rps for octavia though ! may make it a multimuse blog. definitely thinking of adding sigyn <3
the only thing i don’t like about this theme is i can’t easily reorganise my muses, especially if i add more later and want to keep fandoms together
i’m attached to this url but honestly it’s only relevant for octavia
so i have a bunch of characters i’m thinking about writing for, hopefully there’s interest for some of them
octavia blake (the 100)
harper mcintyre (the 100)
sigyn (separate mythology & god of war verses. maybe marvel too but not marvel comics’ version of sigyn)
maybe a god of war oc
wanda maximoff (marvel)
claire redfield (resident evil)
lindsey rivers (resident evil oc)
turning this into an indie octavia blake rp blog and i’m reverting back to marie for her fc bc that’s who i really wanna use
never done an indie rp blog though, this rpg blog is my first and only rp blog (but the rpg is closed now). so i’m super nervous and i’m not sure how things work or how to get rps. but i adore octavia and would love to be able to write for her, maybe more characters if i build my confidence up.
if anyone has some advice or is willing to interact i’d really appreciate it!

she took a conscious breath before grabbing the reins to lead helios to the makeshift stables. he deserved a rest. once there she started taking off his furs and other riding equipment when she became aware that someone had followed her. “ what do you want? ” she set the furs down and looked over her shoulder to see who was there.

“ 𝐖𝐄 𝐖𝐀𝐋𝐊. . . 𝐓𝐀𝐋𝐊. . . 𝐄𝐗𝐏𝐋𝐎𝐑𝐄. ” she begins walking backwards slowly, further out into the forest and away from the wall. it doesn’t really matter what they do, so long as jasper is outside the camp. “ we can start small. ” looking over her shoulder to check where she’s going, she stops by a tree and turns her gaze back to him.
“ just walk ” —she pats the trunk beside her— “ to this tree and back. ” she hopes he will do it: he won’t want to but he needs to.

𝐕𝐄𝐍𝐔𝐒 𝐊𝐍𝐄𝐖 𝐎𝐂𝐓𝐀𝐕𝐈𝐀 𝐖𝐎𝐔𝐋𝐃 get it, but to hear the words from her relieves her still. she lets out a soft breath, one that feels like it was stuck in her throat for quite a while, before she presses her lips together in consideration of o’s offer. it would be good to have some company, even if the amount of time she’ll probably need to stop and start in the hallway will be embarrassing enough.
vee heaves a breath again, the kind that leaves her lips in a sigh. “ are you sure? ” stupid question. of course she’s sure; she wouldn’t have offered otherwise. “ just… i can walk. i just need to rest between. ” the weariness she feels is like no other and her bones ache with most movements, but… oh, vee will never grow tired of looking up and seeing the sky.
𝐎𝐂𝐓𝐀𝐕𝐈𝐀 𝐓𝐑𝐈𝐄𝐒 𝐍𝐎𝐓 𝐓𝐎 𝐏𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐒𝐔𝐑𝐄 venus in any way but she is watching her reactions, noticing how hesitant she is. it’s that bad, huh? or perhaps she just doesn’t want to be seen struggling. octavia doesn’t judge her for any of it. it’s understandable given what she’s been through and none of it makes venus seem weak. at least, not in octavia’s eyes. “ i’m sure, ” she reassures her. she just wants to help and a bit of exercise would probably aid venus’ recovery. plus green trees and blue skies are much nicer to look at than grey walls. “ and that’s okay. when you need to rest, we’ll rest. ” octavia places her hands on the table as she rises up out of her seat.
“ you’ll get stronger. it’ll just take time. ” she’s sure venus knows that but she reminds her anyway. maybe she still needs to hear it.

His eyes narrowed, as she spoke in his native tongue. A diplomat, he had no use for them but smart enough to know not to drop her defenses completely. Good, it wouldn’t be any fun beating up an idiot. Her words meant little to him, she might not have meant harm. Her friends or comrades might not feel the same way. Huron eyes looked behind her, spotting the horse. Watching, listening for any sign of life apart from them. When he couldn’t hear anything, when no one else seemed to materialized. That was when he placed his sower down to his side. Scoffing as he turned his attention back to his arm. He’s yet to meet a Skaikru that could actually fight. they were too lazy, too soft. Relying on their guns like the Mountain Men. She might carry a sword but he didn’t think she could weild it well enough to cut him down. Greater woman had tried and failed. ❞𝐒𝐞𝐧 𝐲𝐮 𝐬𝐰𝐢𝐬 𝐝𝐚𝐮𝐧, 𝐠𝐚𝐝𝐚. 𝐘𝐮 𝐨𝐬𝐨 𝐥𝐚𝐤𝐬𝐞𝐧 𝐲𝐮 𝐤𝐥𝐢𝐧.❞ He bit back the grown as his fingers began to dig into the gash. Trying to get a fish of the arrowhead, still stuck into his skin. Perhaps, he should just clean it as best he can. And head back towards an outpost. There should be a healer there . Huron paused once again, looking towards the outsider. Was she still her, did she not understand? He hadn’t only learned a few words of her tongue but he didn’t care to speak it often. Or learn more to whole a conversation. Rolling his eyes he cupped some of the water form the stream , trying to clean his wound better. His next words fragmented , thick with an accent.
❞ 𝐘𝐨𝐮… 𝐠𝐨.. 𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐲.❞
𝐎𝐂𝐓𝐀𝐕𝐈𝐀 𝐍𝐎𝐓𝐈𝐂𝐄𝐃 𝐇𝐎𝐖 he looked behind her before he seemed to decide she wasn't much of a threat, alone as she was. it could be argued that leaving arkadia alone wasn't smart but she felt she could take care of herself well enough and definitely didn't want to bring a guard with her. lincoln would've come with her if it weren't for the kill order. he would've been much better than her in a situation like this. then again, trikru and azgeda were enemies moreso than any other grounder clans.
at his comment, octavia had to bite back a retort. while she knew she still had so much to learn, she was confident she wouldn't hurt herself. after all, not hurting yourself with a blade was usually lesson one. but she didn't want to antagonise the man; though he was injured, she could tell he was still capable of being a formidable opponent. she should leave. but as she watched him try to take care of his wounds, it was obvious he was struggling somewhat. she almost rolled her eyes when he told her to go away, instead taking a step towards him. that wound in his arm did look pretty bad.
“ you need help. ” she was most definitely not a healer, however she did know some basic things about treating wounds, as every warrior should, and she could help him on his way. taking him back to his people was probably the best option for him. the question was, would it be safe for her to do so?

“ 𝐎𝐂𝐓𝐀𝐕𝐈𝐀, 𝐈—𝐈 𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐋𝐋𝐘 𝐃𝐎𝐍'𝐓 𝐖𝐀𝐍𝐓 to do this… ” jasper mumbles as he glances around at his surroundings nervously. after being impaled and spending the last couple of days either delirious or in pain, he’s terrified to step foot outside of camp. “ last time—last time we tried this i thought you were gonna die when that jerk jumped out from the bush. how do you, i mean— ” the delinquent swallows thickly, nervous tension in his voice, “ how do you know it’s not gonna happen again? ” god, he sounds like such a coward. how could octavia ever like somebody like him?
𝐎𝐂𝐓𝐀𝐕𝐈𝐀 𝐒𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐒 𝐇𝐀𝐏𝐏𝐈𝐋𝐘 at being outside the camp’s walls. the ground is so beautiful. with no walls in sight, she could walk for hours and hours in any direction. but for jasper’s sake she plans to stay within sight of the camp while he’s with her, she knows not to push him too far too soon. she grabs onto a tree and swings round to face him.
“ jasper, the jerks from camp are the only things you’ll run into this close to the wall. ” the grounders have yet to attack the camp, so far jasper is the only one that has been attacked by them and that was after he crossed the river. it seems unlikely that any would be here right now to attack them immediately outside the camp. “ i know you’re scared but you can’t stay inside camp forever. ”

𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐒 𝐖𝐀𝐒 𝐎𝐍𝐄 𝐎𝐅 the rare times that delta felt like she could relax. most people here wanted to have a good time, and that meant no one was going to go digging into her life. through all the people, though, she found someone that she recognized, someone that maybe she could trust.
delta made her way over to the young woman and put her hand gently on her shoulder. “octavia?” she asked. “i’m not sure if you remember me; we met through lincoln.”
𝐀𝐒 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐂𝐄𝐋𝐄𝐁𝐑𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐒 𝐖𝐄𝐑𝐄 kicking off, octavia was keeping to herself. her time on the ground had taught her to be more observant and she was acutely aware of the fact that a number of people didn’t want her here. indra was probably among them but octavia couldn’t help keeping an eye out for her old seda, hoping their relationship wasn’t beyond repair.
octavia was watching how the grounders interacted with each other when she felt a soft touch on her shoulder, and instinctively it felt calming and trustworthy. she turned her head curiously as a woman spoke to her in a familiar, kind voice. “ delta, ” octavia remembered with a soft smile.
“ i didn’t think i would see you here. ” despite that she really was happy to see her. she trusted her own instincts as well as lincoln’s judgement, so a friend of his was also a friend of hers. plus delta had never been anything but kind to her. “ how are you? ”

He should have known he wouldn’t be the only one looking for the mountain lion.
Huron heard the low whistle of something fly through the air. Ducking just in time as it shot by his ear. Catching a few strands of his white hair as it sounded with a thud in a nearby tree trunk—Noukru, scavengers. Little better then Skaikur but just as easy to pick off. He drew his sword. Impaling it into the charging bandit. Did they require food? He didn’t know. Nor did he care, as another arrow-headed his way.
Swatting it with his blade. But one caught in his thigh, another deep into his arm. One more protruding from the right of his chest.
Anger swelled, urging him forward.
Breaking the ends of the arrows but leaving the arrowheads embedded in him. It was an easy battle. They were no match for him. and as his adrenaline dwindled. The pain of the damage they had done was quickly felt. The arrows in his chest and leg were easy to remove. Bandaging them with pieces of his shirt, now torn a and bloody to cover the open wounds. The one in his arm was harder to reach. Sharp pain radiated up from his arm.
He should have turned home right then, but he couldn’t leave the dead there. The words he spoke were low, a quiet prayer in the hopes of guiding their souls to a better place bodies buried. He’d walked for outs. A slight limp to his gaunt He is too stubborn to give up on his hunt just yet. Huron let out a low groan when he found the stream, grunting as he took a seat. Hissing as the cool water seeped into the cut. He cleaned it as best he could.
She wasn’t so quiet as the others; maybe that was her aim, he wasn’t sure. Either way, he drew his sword quick enough, ignoring the pain that shot through his arm as he did so. He could feel the point of the the arrowhead scrape against bone. His steely gaze on her now. Skaikru A low grumble resonated deep in his chest; his words were thick and menacing. Not something he did often. Except when he viewed you as a threat.

𝐀𝐋𝐋 𝐎𝐂𝐓𝐀𝐕𝐈𝐀 𝐖𝐀𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐃 𝐖𝐀𝐒 𝐒𝐎𝐌𝐄 𝐒𝐏𝐀𝐂𝐄. she'd left arkadia with helios, under a special allowance for the horse to get some exercise as it wasn't good to keep him inside arkadia's walls day after day. being surrounded by the green trees and wildlife of the ground brought her the kind of peace that would never be found inside the skaikru settlement. but she hadn't meant to come so close to azgeda. she supposed she ended up there as her mind had wandered to the members of skaikru they'd taken prisoner, including her friend. octavia wanted to get them back and was frustrated that the council didn't seem to be taking any action on it. who knows what their people are going through while the council plays politics.
the sound of a stream nearby drew her attention and she thought of helios. he could probably do with a drink of water. slowing her horse down, she then guided him to walk towards the stream. as they got closer, she caught sight of someone further upstream. immediately on edge, she quietly pulled her horse to stop and then dismounted. “ let's take a break, helios, ” she spoke softly to him, leading him by the reins to the stream. “ have a drink, i'll be right back. ”
leaving the horse, she drew her sword and cautiously approached the stranger. from this distance she couldn't be entirely sure but it looked as though he was wounded. that made her change her approach, lowering her sword a little and being less quiet so perhaps she wouldn't startle him. when she came out into the open, he was quick to draw his sword and octavia raised her own defensively. she recognised him as azgeda but still she didn't attack. it wouldn't help skaikru's try for peace, or azgeda's opinion of them, if she were to strike first. since he’d spoken to her in trigedasleng, she decided to do the same.
“ ai nou na bash yo op, ” she said, lowering her sword slowly but not yet putting it away. she wasn’t stupid; just because she didn’t mean him any harm, that didn’t automatically mean his intentions were the same.
𝐕𝐄𝐍𝐔𝐒.
𝐃𝐎𝐄𝐒 𝐎𝐂𝐓𝐀𝐕𝐈𝐀 𝐒𝐄𝐄 𝐑𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓 through her? venus hopes not, but it’s getting hard to tell herself that octavia doesn’t know the truth. venus swallows thickly, her gaze lowering. “ i was sick of staring at the walls. ” of all people, venus knows octavia will understand that, although her situation was far worse. “ i wanted… i just wanted to get out. my dad keeps fussing over me. ” she missed him and she cares about him, but she can’t help but feel guilty for making him worry about her so much. he can tell he’s terrified to lose her the same way he lost his wife. her mother.
venus swallows the lump in her throat—her pride—as she says, “ i couldn’t make it outside. this — this is as far as i could get. ” oh, god, admitting her weakness feels wrong, like she’s pathetic, like the world could eat her up at any second… venus should know she doesn’t need to explain herself to octavia, but she feels like she has to.
𝐎𝐇 𝐎𝐂𝐓𝐀𝐕𝐈𝐀 𝐃𝐎𝐄𝐒 𝐔𝐍𝐃𝐄𝐑𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐓𝐇𝐀𝐓. she'd spent her whole childhood staring at grey walls only to be back inside them again now. it brings back everything she's trying to get away from and the looks she gets from the people here tell her she'll never be fully accepted. the decision she made to adopt trikru's ways seems to have only isolated her further. that's why she prefers to spend as much time as possible outside, even better if it's on the other side of arkadia's gates. “ i know how that feels, better than anyone. ” she also knows what it's like to be fussed over. she loves bellamy but sometimes his overprotective nature can be suffocating.
she looks away from venus to glance around the mess hall, taking in the sight of arkadians socialising and getting food to eat. her eyes return to venus as she listens to her talk, tracing a scratch on the table before she responds. “ i can take you outside, if you want. ” she knows she would feel the same way if she were in venus' position, and for that reason she isn't going to rat her out or force her back to her room. besides, octavia has been thinking up ways to get around arkadia's rules since day one. “ if anyone tries to send you back to your room i'll just tell them you needed some fresh air. ”

“ 𝐈'𝐌 𝐅𝐈𝐍𝐄, 𝐓𝐀𝐕𝐈𝐀, " venus mumbles. that’s a lie in a half, even if venus wishes it were the truth. she’d left her room where she’d been resting for the past four days due to the procedure torture inflicted upon her in the mountain, although she’s not really supposed to be out of her room unsupervised. she just had to get out of there. now, however, she’s stuck: she’s been sitting in the mess hall for a while now, too ashamed to admit to anyone that she needs help. she’s too weak to make the journey back to her room on her own. “ really, i’m—i’m fine. ” please don’t leave.
“ 𝐈 𝐊𝐍𝐎𝐖. ” octavia shrugs lightly to appear nonchalant but she's pretty sure venus shouldn't be wandering around yet, not after what she's been through. when octavia came over to her, though, she didn't expect her to respond any other way. “ that's why you're sat here instead of your room. ” she's calling her out but she isn't doing it to be unkind, it's just because she cares. venus shouldn't push herself too far too soon. octavia doesn't know what it's like to be strapped down and drilled into against your will but she doubts just four days would be enough to recover fully.

obsidian: which of the seven deadly sins my muse would be
taking into account all of octavia's character, including the show's insights into her character, i would say she is the sin of wrath. at the extreme, if anyone were to hurt those closest to her (such as bellamy, lincoln or indra) there's a risk octavia would lose control of herself and give into a strong need for vengeance.
moss agate, chalcedony, hiddenite
𝐀𝐒𝐊 𝐌𝐄𝐌𝐄 𝐖𝐄𝐄𝐊𝐄𝐍𝐃
moss agate: if my muse has a high or low opinion of themself
generally speaking, this is somewhere in the middle. she's proud of herself for how far she's come since they landed and for the most part she feels she's made the right choices. however she still has a long way to go. if she doesn't meet her own standards, particularly where training is concerned, she berates herself and she does have some regrets, like when she punched lincoln for giving up when he was reinfected with the reaper serum.
chalcedony: the saddest my muse has ever been
this would be after lincoln was taken by the reapers and octavia failed to find him. not only did it cause her pain to lose lincoln, unsure if she would ever see him again, but she also had no idea if her brother was still alive. the last time she saw bellamy was at the battle of the camp and anything could have happened to him after she left. at this point in time, it was possible that both lincoln and bellamy were gone forever and octavia wasn't sure if she could handle that.
hiddenite: how much of an "inner child" my muse has.
octavia has somewhat of an 'inner child'. though she doesn't show it as much now as she did when they first landed, her childlike curiosity is still very much there. she wants to explore more of the ground and learn about it. her 'inner child' also presents itself in those moments when she can be more playful. they're rare, given how serious she is most of the time, but she still loves to have fun.
kyanite: an anger headcanon

kyanite: an anger headcanon
octavia does have an unfortunate habit of letting her anger get the best of her and it tends to make her lash out, as shown when she tried to attack someone for calling her 'the girl under the floor'. when indra was training her to be a warrior, octavia was starting to learn how to handle and channel her anger in the right direction. now she tries to keep up with those practices, finding them useful and still wanting to make indra proud despite no longer being her second. she's more likely to lash out verbally now rather than physically.
