This is so stupid
the sequels are only real so Luke can adopt Rey and thats it
(ko-fi requests are open!)
Luke: There are three ways to handle a difficult situation. The right way, the wrong way, and the Skywalker way.
Din: Isn't that the wrong way?
Luke: Yes, but it's faster.

Luke: No, Han, it's not what it looks like, I swear.
Din: *confusion* ?
Han: Oh really? So no reason for me to be jealous?
Luke: No! Youāre the only one for me.
Din: *panicked confusion* ?!?
Han: Is that so?
Luke: I promise! Din and I are just dating, okay? Theyāre my partner.
Din: *bewildered confusion*
Han: So there are no best-friends-feelings involved?
Luke: You are still my one and only best friend! Theyāre just the love of my life, nothing more!
Din: *baffled confusion* ..??
Han: But Iām still the platonic love of your life, right?

If you have a senior to check on ask them to "borrow" something small so they think they're helping you.
My mom (72) recently downsized and moved close enough to me that checking on her in person regularly is not really out of my way, but when I was obvious about it she wouldnāt let me āstop-byā because she was, āfineā.
Well, one day I actually needed some aluminum foil so I called and asked if I could borrow enough to cover a baking tin because I didnāt want to run to the store. She said sure, but when I got to her house she needed furniture moved, a wasp nest removed, and her coffee pot fixed. After I got the foil I mentioned each thing cautiously and she let me take care of them for her. So next weekend Iāll need a cup of rice and check on her again.
Even better, hereās an array of more reciprocal options for building relationship & supporting seniorsā dignity and independence:
- ask for something they can actually help you with. Elders have skills. Mending? Advice about knitting, gardening, home repair, nevermind professional training?
-ask about their experiences. āI was reading about xyz event the other day & I would love to know what that time was like for you. Can we chat about it over tea?ā Goes double for family history for relatives.
-āSomeone gave me this [or, I ended up with extra] & I donāt need/want it, but I bet you have a use for it. Can I bring it over? I would hate for it to go to waste.ā
-work side-by-side. They get your physical help, you get their experience & expertise. āCould I come over & have you show me how you [used to] prune your gorgeous roses? Iām trying to get better with mine.ā

Actually, my therapist has told me this is a healthy way of processing things. Because you can get the trauma out of your head And you can write the ending you wish it had. The trusted person rescue, the catharsis of getting to kill the one who hurt you.
It's good for your brain. It's healthier than bottling it up. Fiction is where we go for emotional release. That can be true with trauma too.
so what you're saying is
character: NO
therapist: YES
Adding @dear-massacre's tags because they are so true:
#this is why it's important to remember that fictional characters are fake #they have no agency. they're made up #it hurts no one to make any character go through the horrors #it is healthy and cathartic
yeah okay ill reblog that
Also, reading works for it too. Not everyone has the drive or habits to put a character through the horrors as a coping mechanism, but reading is more accessible.
That's why censorship is bad.
(Also, humans are fully capable of repressing traumatic memories, so if you don't know WHY you feel the urge to write or read characters being put through the horrors... Do it anyway, you might remember exactly why you had that urge later on, once the fictional catharsis has helped you process the trauma enough that your brain stops repressing the memories in order to protect you.)
I've been fed, walked and watered and I've slept enough and been out of the internet and I'm doing crafts.
Why am I still angry.
I walked right into this one like a blind horse into a revolving door.
Hey idk who needs this but helpful reminder that "virgin blood" in any witchcraft shit that requires that means "virgin" in the same sense as "virgin hair" means hair that hasn't been dyed or processed in any way, natural in the default sense. So no, "virgin blood" doesn't mean blood from a virgin, just blood that hasn't been used for any other kind of witchy shit earlier.
Whether nor not someone has fucked before is completely irrelevant. Any act of fucking doesn't instantly make someone contaminated or un-magic any of their shit. You're just not supposed to re-use blood for blood magic. That's just not. Just do not. Like that's just weird who does that.
no wait that- no that's not- no.
Unles you've like, poured out ALL OF YOUR BLOOD, used it for a spell, and then somehow SIPHONED THE WHOLE THING BACK IN, that doesn't mean the blood on the inside of you is also used. And even then, if you'd had your sacrifical blood IV'd back into your body-
actually nevermind, I need to draw a graph to illustrate:
I hope this helps.
The blood inside of you is used. Constantly. It's why there is blood there.
If anything, the blood on the outside is unused.
damn they ain't lying, it is like talking to a fucking genie with you people.
