girl i do understand that post's point but if the "açaí bowls" being sold here have anything in common with the ones in brazil i will eat my shoe because you are describing a fruit salad and I am looking at something that is mostly granola and protein powder atp. my shoe would likely taste better. i walk past a cafe selling cinnamon hot sauce matcha lattes and a bar selling chocolate matcha martinis on my way to and from work. i honestly do not think the western fads have very much to do with the actual food or drink the are named after/based on!!!

i have never travelled outside brasil so I'll admit I have NO idea what it would be like anywhere else so i get where you're coming from and i even thought of that when i reblogged that post
