Happy Halloween! Enjoy some Oxenfree doodles!
Another Inktober sketch from last year that never got inked. Kind of happy I colored it instead! I thought about doing a monster/fighter class series, where she would be the sniper (hence the finger gun). Maybe I'll pick it back up in the future.
A gorgon barista with some lovely (poisonous??) drinks. Drawing from last October that was going to be for Inktober but I didn't end up inking. Finished it for this Halloween season instead!
A little Selphie and Irvine doodle~
Silly Prompto doodles, 100% inspired by this post: https://twitter.com/AGeekwithaHat/status/1155950596421107713
I know there's a line when you fight about him not being a 'wildlife guy' but I always imagined him being into wildlife photography (perhaps just cute, not deadly wildlife).
A piece I did for a printmaking class years ago. The class focused on mixing inspirations, so I chose discworld and pulled inspiration stylistically from Rad Sechrist. Unfortunately I never got the actual prints back, but I at least have the digital version!
A character of mine from a story a friend and I worked on years back, Iris! I miss writing her and all her sass… (and yes, she can control water)
This is Nix! She's part of a personal project that only exists as a concept right now but one I'd love to work on in the future. Her design is very much WIP but I'm trying to be better about sharing the process! Hoping to have more to show for the project in general as it grows!
Oh hey! Finally posting the full picture of my icon. Also thinking about doing something different for Halloween...
So, way back in high school we were assigned a project to create a kid's book. Mine involved this dork (Phillip, Master of Color) teaching colors. A friend and I liked him so much he ended up sticking around and I still find myself drawing him on occasions!
Tack from The Thief and the Cobbler. I was very sad to hear about Richard Williams passing... I've loved this movie since I was a kid and now as an adult I'm blown away by the ridiculous detail and smoothness of the animation from it. It's a horrible shame the movie went through the production hell it did. I believe the Recobbled version is still on Youtube, which shows the movie as close to the original vision as possible. If you've never seen the movie, I highly recommend seeing it!
Zidane! Originally was going to do the whole FF9 party, but lost steam... Might revisit it at some point!
And definitely accidentally did a similar pose to Freya's... whoops!
Freya! And her ridiculous jump... If you haven't seen the level 1 Ozma fight, it's pretty great.
Pikmin! Another older piece that I never got around to posting. I still love the original game. Trying to be as efficient as possible in the time limit was so rewarding.
Banjo-Kazooie doodle in honor of the E3 announcement. I've wanted them in Smash since Melee, I can't wait to play as this duo! Tried something a little different with the shading. Not crazy about it, but it was a fun experiment!
Elizabeth and Booker from Bioshock Infinite, still one of my favorite games.
Hello friends! So I realize I've been pretty dead since I finished those dailies... Life sort of happened in many different ways, some good, some bad, but ultimately I got pretty burned out with a lot of life changes and stepped away from drawing for a while. But! I'm happy to say that I've gotten back in the swing of things over the past few weeks and am hoping to become more active again! I got some fun stuff in the works already, so stay tuned!
