Remembering.
Hot days in Norway. Talking about books about magic. Jumping over rocks by the stream. Jokes about the peeking trolls told in the most serious tone. And someone who’s no longer here. But the memory of a happy childhood remains. And in the memory a child is a l i v e.

Painting inspired by a sculpture, “labour” by Paris Paloma and my own thoughts about women’s narrative throughout the times
I wanted to show how the dryad is aware of the cycle she’s heard so much about and she can’t stop and she knows how it goes and how it ends and yet she cannot step aside from this theatre that so many girls before played. But the essence of this “love story” is the woman, man is in the picture enough to give some context but it’s like he is only a piece on a chessboard, not that human. The alive thing is HER. And yet she still bends and accepts his “love” knowing what it will turn into. I’d love to hear what you think.

Is this what you wanted?
so as long as tumblr keeps this, here's the tumblr version of etiquette that was maintained when twitter's quote-retweets affected artist visibility/notes:
for art that someone has added reblog commentary to (or removed the caption from), reblog from the source
otherwise, avoid adding reblog comments to art (as this will affect the artist's notes/visibility)—utilize tags and replies to provide commentary (which artists will absolutely appreciate)
reblog comments are comments added to the body of a post, not the tags and not replies.
