No Sleep Till:

30 minutes is all it took for me to get to Brooklyn. And a whopping 3 seconds is all it took for me to fall in love with the borough. 

I walked around Smorgasburg with my boyfriend, trying chicken parmesan (or in Boston referred as Chicken Paaaam) on a hunk of delicious thick bread and ricotta cheese along with a nacho plate with homemade truffle cheese drizzled on top, while gazing at the hipsters of this interesting area of New York. 

Everyone was over 21 and under 30. It was a frat party after college-minus the nasty beer. Instead they were men out of the Urban Outfitters summer catalog and every girl looked like her photo would be on a street style blog.

Vogue captured it best-the women and their children flocking to this area in their best attire.

Devon Aoki and son Hunter stroll past the Bedford Cheese shop in Williamsburg. I quickly ran out of the store when I realized the smell of cheese was so deliciously consuming and I had spent all my money in thrift shops and had no money for these to die for cheeses.

The 20 something crowd wore ankle boots and high waisted jean shorts, floral dresses, turbans, and more ray bans than I can count on 10 hands. 

Walking back to the subway I gazed at hand crafted rings on the street and $250 camera book ends that I am sad I didn’t splurge on.

I left with a mason jar full of candy and my heart in Brooklyn.
