Hey when I said "close to being done", I lied, sorry about that. I took way too long editing and polishing and getting feedback. Against all odds this chapter turned out pretty good, take a look.
Next chapter is getting close to being done, been doing a lot of planning for where I want the story to go! I’m pretty excited though.
I’m planning on three major perspectives, and this next chapter will be from the POV of Hion, who I’ve written about already. For fun I did a dialogue meme as an exercise, but if you’ll excuse the silly sketches I think it might be a good introduction to the character.

The One Who Looks Up And Sees Nothing
What purpose does a god truly have? What purpose can a god gain from their own creation if that creation is a part of themself? Ask yourself what you would do if you were stuck in a perpetual dream, and you might begin to see Ræsilth's problem. Ræsilth's existence is, by definition, a purely internal one, which has given him a haunting perspective on reality and himself. He spent an immense span of time trying to find some sort of answer, some kind of key to a meaningful existence, but he couldn't find one, not one that satisfied him.

Ræ has been a lot of fun to design and throw into some terrible situations. Unfortunately, he's probably not going to show up in any stories for a hot minute. But he seemed like an appropriate place to start, seeing how he quite literally is the whole setting.
First Short Story is Now Up!
