hey so...did i ever tell you guys i once made cookie run ocs HEAVILY based off of thunder and lightning from the 2003 teen titans show
i think this was back when i was FIRST obsessed w them (december of 2025) and i was into cookie run at the moment so i drew them as cookies lol IS IT KINDA CRINGE maybe BUT IM FREE I TELL YOU, FREEE i cant remember what names i gave them it may have been thunder spirit cookie and lightning spirit cookie? LAME ASS NAMES but i mean what can you do..

these are my fav titans heh IN ORDER THEY GO 1: thunder 2: lightning (I LOVE HIM AND THUNDER BOTH EQUALLY but thunder has some qualities i prefer more) 3: argent 4: jericho 5: kole (some close runner ups would be red star, beast boy, and wildebeest, jinx too) this also made me realize how LITTLE female titans there are, most of them are male LMAO out of the titans that i drew, the hardest to get were kole and thunder, but argents hair always gives me a hard time
LIGHTING DRAWINGS GO-
i noticed that i rarely ever draw lightning full bodied or with his electrical lower half, so i decided to do both bc im just that cool... i tried to match these ones as close to the in show style as possible while keeping my own twist in it...heh..
these ones were a little while back, and have a bit more of my style in it also have beast boy x lightning since ig that was a semi popular ship back in the days, along with thunder x beast boy ALSO this is my first time ever drawing beast boy??? like i think i did pretty good...
(lightning kinda looks like a banana in the 1st one im crying LMAO) btw i dont PERSONALLY ship lightning with beast boy, i actually dont really ship him w anybody, since theres literally no good matches...hrmmm BEAST BOY AND THUNDER IS CUTE THOUGH, ive seen people ship see-more and lightning which is random but better than nothing i suppose...heh...okay i really need to pick up the god damn slack and draw the other titans INCLUDING THUNDER i claim he's my fav then never draw him LOL
A TEEN TITANS RANT
i genuinely don't think most people understand how much it PISSES ME OFF that my absolute FAVORITE characters in teen titans 03 have literally barely any art/fans. for gods sake THEY HAD A WHOLE EPISODE IN THE 1ST SEASON and nobody actually gives 2 shits about them like- ARGENT (a character who dead ass had 1 minute of screen time) HAS WAY MORE FANART AND FANS THAN THEM but this is probably just the internet being weird w goth girls AS PER USUAL. their wiki literally states WHAT episodes they're in AND THEN DOESNT HAVE ANY IMAGES FOR THE GALLERY granted some of them may be hard to miss, such as lightning appearing for 1 second in "lightspeed" which to be honest he looks kinda weird in, mainly bc his proportions aren't correct
FROM WHAT I HAVE GATHERED due to my epic internet sleuthing and skill- they were WAY more popular from like, the air date to maybe 2013 then when teen titans go aired and they didn't appear, people started to lose interest and instead focus on the new show. i think i would ACTUALLY watch the shitty show if ANY of the honorary titans showed up AND NO TITANS EAST DOESNT FUCKING COUNT nor does kid flash, they milked the fuck out of them and left the others out to dry. Another thing i hate that we didn't see was their concept art, many of the other characters (jericho, argent, herald ect) have at least one little scrap of concept art to show their evolution, BUT THEN THUNDER AND LIGHTNING DIDNT- again, they were introduced in the 4th episode in the 1st season, back when teen titans wasn't rushed, so surely they have a piece of concept art lying around (here is the concept art of argent and jericho yes that is jericho)
i also really hate how much MORE people like lightning than thunder, mainly (from what i can gather) he is thin and cuter, while thunder has a unibrow and is fat (though im pretty sure the unibrow is a style choice, as he is also drawn without it) NOW I MAY SOUND LIKE A LARP bc i specifically draw lightning alot BUT I ACTUALLY PREFER THUNDER- its just that often times thunder is a bit of a struggle to draw for me, but i mastered how to draw lightning, so i just prefer drawing him OKAY NOW FOR A NON T&L RANT i DESPISE how people think that many of the teen titans introduced in the final season are ocs (yes this happens alot, mainly on tiktok) people mainly accuse of kole and argent of being ocs, mainly because they look a bit different than how other female characters are drawn, in all fairness both kole and argent look NOTHING like how they do in the 80s comics, but that doesnt mean you get to make fun of them bc they look like ocs? (by the way, many characters like See-more, Kyd Wykkyd, billy numerous, and many of the other villains are TT03 originals, so those are technically ocs bruh) ONE MORE THING am i the only person who lowkey hated how they kept the fact that wildebeest was originally a baby who turned into a big monster when angry? like what makes it 10x WEIRDER is that the comic SHIPPED ARGENT AND WILDEBEEST TOGETHER? at first i was like "aw its kinda cute" then i discovered the other comic and was confused by this choice, like damn bro this isnt the loud house- in conclusion, make honorary titans art, AND I MEAN DRAW ALL OF THEM, including the VERY unpopular ones like bushido, tramm, killowat, red star and wildebeest AND OF COURSE, MY BOYS thunder and lightning...💙💛

SO FUN FACT: when i first created noir, it was already in my head that them and argent would NOT get along and would in fact hate each other, kinda took inspiration from the fact that robin and speedy are somewhat depicted as rivals in the show. THIS IS NOT ME HATING ON ARGENT-i would say that argent is probably my fav female character in the show (i say female bc my ABSOLUTE faves are T&L heh) this isnt really a hard set ship, just me experimenting with who id want to ship noir with (if i do end up picking one, that is) i originally shipped them with jericho, until someone told me that argent or kole would be cute.
side note: i drew both of these awhile ago but i get a bit shy posting oc x canon art, since the internet seems to think its cringe when in fact it was THE SHIT back in the 2000s
