Looks like you & I can relate to the whole verbal-acuity-thing.
You and I have a lot in common, Emmanuel. We relate in a lot of ways.

I’m always okay.
Hm.
I’ve been okay, I guess.
Just okay?
Oh look. It speaks.
Obviously.
Can’t tell if you’re taking a leak, having an emotional break down or catatonia is just one of many symptoms of you obvious mental illness. But you ought to move.
No.
That doesn’t seem likely.
Why not?
Detoxing, really? Must have been a serious struggle… I can’t even imagine, to be honest. What compelled you to do it and what kind of differences have you been faced with within yourself?
Oh. Well, I came across a comparison of PET scans between the brain of someone suffering from severe depression and someone with a healthy brain. And it got me interested in neuroscience relative to what our brains can tell us about a humans imbalances and disorders. Out of curiosity, I had my own brain scanned and analysed. The scientists at the university were interested in conducting some experiments on me, under my guidance. We worked together to make my brain into a 'super-brain' of sorts. A superior framework for more intelligent consciousness. We reprogrammed my mind to not only replicate a PET scan of the brain of someone void of mental health issues, disabilities, learning deficiencies, etc. but heightened and excelled past the image into one that was positively glowing. Over the past two months, my brain has grown 25% and I've been able to access 30% of the 75% of our subconscious mind that, to you, will forever remain just that: subconscious.
Hey. You okay?
Always.
How have you been?
There’s nothing interesting to do.
The ground was my last option.
There is always something interesting to do. Only boring people get bored.
I won’t bother you.
It’s just so fucking boring.
So you fall onto the ground?
-Falls down on the ground, a couple of feet away from him-
Uh, ye—yeah. I asked you if you were alright. Are you?
Yeah. Of course. I'm more than fine.
Are... you alright?
Sounds about right.
I’m actually quite well - how are you doing?
Good, as always. Nothing to complain about.
I've been, err... detoxing. Ridding myself of everything negative in my life. It's been painful, very hard on my - you know - mental health and emotions and whatnot. But it's paying off, slowly. I'm definitely seeing a difference.
You alright there?
Did you say something?
No rush at all - where ya been?
Uh... Here and there.
How are you?
[walks up behind him, not saying anything]
Hm?
Oh. Hey there, sunshine.
Oh uh - hey. I didn’t see ya there.
Hi. Are you in a rush?
