why are so many of wonder woman's villains so smart? cheetah was an archaeologist, gigants was a genius, dr. psycho, dr poison (one and two!). why do all of these geniuses decide fighting WONDER WOMAN would be their best course of action lmaoo

does superman have an equivelant to "batman: murderer/fugitive" or "who is the wonder woman"? they're some of the best stories for those two, supes deserves one too

seeing people on dctwt talk about how wonder woman is "hard to write" and that's why she hasn't had a movie yet drives me crazy bc if you're writing a wonder woman movie your job is not actually to make up a story! you could just ADAPT a story that's been beloved for decades, of which wonder woman has many!!! you dont have to come up with her mythology and weaknesses and enemies or even themes of a specific battle, other writers have already done that work. just take one of her famous stories and adapt it for the screen

i haven't seen anyone mention it online yet but i love that in the supergirl movie one of the planets they travel to is called "bilquis", like bilquis evely, the artist for woman of tomorrow. such a fun little nod!

something about being able to directly look at the progression of dick and damian as robin at roughly the same ages... 10, 13, 15.... the brothers sharing a mantle of all time

chris kent "dying" and disappearing for years, jon getting kidnapped and taken away for years, osul dying and getting revived by the magic rock.... meanwhile otho is just chilling. someone save superman's sons

the more i think about it, the more I think yara flor should be the wonderfam's power girl. technically connected to the mythos, fits visually, but narratively completely disconnected from the group. i feel like yara should acknowledge the similarity of their "warrior woman" roots, but not be a member of wonder woman's direct family in the same way donna or cassie are. power girl is technically superman's cousin, but not in the same way supergirl is. just... some distance. makes it easier to slot her into a different role in the comics too, instead of having her basically take cassie sandsmark's place.

if we ever got another bruce wayne surprise!-biological-child their mom should be someone in gotham. vicki vale or silver st. cloud, an old school sometimes love interest like that. i think the idea of a woman raising bruce's child directly under his nose is soooo funny

if i had a nickel for every time a comic introduced an edgy teen vigilante who's a clone of someone, had white hair, and was experimented on before being forgotten and ignored by every other creative i would have two nickels, which isn't a lot but it's weird that it happened twice
