After careful research into various human forms of humor, I believe I have found one that may be easier for me to grasp. Twenty-first century meme humor seems formulaic enough that I may be able to use it as a proverbial stepping stone to more complex forms of humor.

I cannot believe the entitlement it takes to write graphic fan fiction about two living people and then get insulted when they don’t ask you first before reading it. I’m an author myself but for Christ’s sake, get a grip. Expecting someone to ask for permission to read the porn you wrote and published about them is ridiculous and I can’t believe I have to say it. I know that it’s easy to have a disconnect between you and celebrities but that sort of fanfiction is creepy and rude, and I’m simply not budging. Have some self-awareness.
