Itâs best to have someone do this for you while you stand up and relax your muscles as best you can, but if youâre alone, a tennis ball and a flat surface will probably work. Alternatively you can lie on the edge of a bed at the pressure point. (But no really do try to find someone to do it for you)
Find the area in your spine between either the first, second, third, or fourth vertebrae. It should be sore and uncomfortable to press down on, so look for the one thatâs most painful, and press down with as much pressure as you can on that area for 30 seconds.
Realize that 80% of your pain has magically disappeared and keep the info secret if you live in a small puritan town, lest you be tried for witchcraft.
If you donât have to worry about being burned or hanged, then share the info with your migraine suffering friends.
As someone who wrote a 10k word paper on pressure points for a high belt ranking test in her martial arts class, I can tell you that you just found a pressure point used in acupressure and acupuncture to relieve pain, particularly that in the head. :)

As a medical massage therapist, I thought I would give my two cents.
This is good for tension migranes and normal migraines, but actually pretty useless for sinus migraines. Itâll help for a hot second, but quickly come back. (These are usually the migraines behind your eyes, in your ears, and behind your forehead. Sometimes it can feel like jaw pain or TMJ) for sinus migraines, behind the ear in a divot. Press down firmly and pull towards your collarbone. Thatâll drain your sinuses. Also, pressing around the eye socket on the cheekbones help. There is also a little triangle up away from the eye in the eyebrow bone. Press and hold pretty hard and thatâll relieve that behind the forehead pain. Also, ear pulling is great to help move sinuses around.
Donât forget the temples too! Press firmly and hold. Open and close your jaw while holding your temples. Itâll feel weird, but itâll help with jaw pain. Itâll work a similar way if you hold the jaw joint under your cheekbone.
And never underestimate the power of a foot massage!! Give minutes can be all the difference!! Our feet are our base. If they hurt even a little, somewhere else in your body will hurt. Treat your feet and sinuses kindly!

For TMJ-type pain, put the tip of your tongue against the back of your top front teeth. It wonât go away completely, but it helps.

after the last ment, i think most people thought that was already the end of the concert. the stage lights were turned off and from where i was seated, i also saw the staff clearing the stage.
but our fanlights were still on. so we continued to shout SHINee. it went on for a few minutes, and then the lights on stage came back. five spotlights on five mic stands. the middle stand had a red rose attached to it. everywhere around me were people racked with sobs.
then we saw the four as they moved forward to where the spotlights were. they were all dressed in white suits, a red rose in the breast pocket.
it was a new song. then we heard jjongâs voice, and it just twisted my heart without mercy. and then i saw how the four were trying to keep it together, and i was just, overwhelmed again with so much love and pride for them. it was hard to make sense of all the emotions. it all was just too much. shawols around me were weeping heavily too.
at the end, the four took the roses from their suits and attached those to the stands too. that was the last image of the concert. five stands in a row, with red roses under the spotlight.

God I really wish carrying stuffed animals around with you was socially acceptable
I donât mean to take over a post, but I actually did a project on this for my sociology of deviance class in college!
I carried a large stuffed rabbit whenever I went in public for about a week to observe the reaction of others. The point of the project was to do something harmless yet unusual to see if the action would be considered deviant, in which case someone had to try to correct or shame the behavior.
Long story short, nobody tried to correct my behavior. I was asked about it casually, had a few lingering stares thrown my way and when I was with my boyfriend, shop employees would direct questions to him instead of me. However, nobody refused to assist me when I was alone in a store, nobody said anything about the rabbit besides âoh, thats a cute bunny!â and I attended college classes without even a teacher questioning it.
In conclusion, it is socially acceptable to carry a stuffed animal, its just not a societal norm. ^^
