ツ: A guilty desire of theirs.
When the waves blow out, he likes really likes to watch TV, even though he should be using that time to hit the weights. HE'S REALLY INTO COOKING SHOWS. HIS FAVORITE IS CHOPPED: KALOS. Also, his favorite chef is (the Pokemon equivalnet) to Alton Brown and tries to catch reruns of Good Eats whenever possible. The guiltiest pleasure of all though is that he really enjoys karaoke, even though he declines his turn at parties.
Surf’s Up
Brawly turned off the TV in his living room. He had just finished watching his favorite movie, Surf’s Up (2007) for the twelfth time this week. He tightened his grip on the DVD case. The thought of a life without this movie was unbearable. Looking out the window, Brawly noticed that it was already dusk. He bobbed his head appreciating the orange sky reflecting on the sea.
Though Brawly was a fighting type gym leader, he had an irrefutable fascination with the ocean. Every morning, he’d catch the best wave Dewford could manage and enjoy the breeze that blew through his bushy, baby blue hair. And, the way the water splashed and graced his skin was enough to paint the biggest smile on his face.
“’This is what it’s all about,’“ he quoted to himself. “’What could be better than this?’” The words of Big Z resonated within him as he got up and sprinted outside. As he ran, he noticed a figure sitting at shore. He found this odd, considering usually everyone in town is in their homes once sunset hits. His pace slowed down, but the closer he approached, the less suspicious he was. With a sigh of relief, he decided to take a seat.
“What’s up paddlepuss,” he smirked. “Waves too gnarly for you?”
After a stressful day in Ever Grande, Steven retreated to the quiet shores of Dewford Town. He sat still in the sand, watching the final colors of dusk blend into the furthest reaches of the ocean horizon. Harsh waves rhythmically lapped against his body, creating such a moment of zen that he hadn’t noticed anyone approaching him.
“What’s up paddlepuss. Waves too gnarly for you?”
“Hi, Brawly.” And with a polite laugh, Steven said, “You know me… I’ve tried my hand at surfing and I’m certain that things would go even worse in the dark. I’ll leave that to you.”
Steven leaned back and propped himself up with his arms, studying his friend with a small smile. “How is everything at the gym?”
The sounds of the tides roaring in were enough to break silence. Brawly looked down and gave out an airy chuckle. “They’ve been... alright. Kind of slow.” He looked up at Steven, who seemed to be contemplating.
He watched dusk fade into the evening, catching the first stars of the night glimmer at his zenith. He pressed his hand on top of the wet sand to leave an imprint. It made it him feel sentimental. “Ever since that new trainer rolled by, uh, Norman’s kid I believe, I just haven’t felt the same, man. They spit some drama about an evil team tryna reel steal a special orb. Do you really think Kyogre’s gonna awaken?”
He stretched out his legs so his feet touched the water. It was a chill way to end the day, talking to the Champion. “It’s been on my mind since I checked out Granite Cave. I take it that’s why you’re here?”
Brawly scoffed. “Dude, I can’t imagine this town going to shit. I’ve been here my whole life.”

My muse agrees to be completely honest and spare no details for one of your muse's curiosities, but only one. What does your muse try to find out from mine?
