It isnât everyday his Pokemon get to have a vacation on the Lilycove beach. The sun is wrenching out heat on the waters, the ocean glinting from the light spewing out of the morning star ahead. The waves are lapping softly on the shore, sending glorious pads of foam to bubble on the beach.
While Wally curiously glances at the people on the beach enjoy the long Sunday morning, he focuses more on his Pokemon - the real reason why heâs going on this tiny vacation in the first place.Â
Lapis is sinking into the waters, his large antenna peeking out of the waves as his Talonflame settles himself cautiously on his Swampertâs head. Roar has always been afraid of the water, not just because heâs a fire type; but he seems to trust Lapis despite his phobia. Wally smiles at the sight, covering his eyes from the gorging heat of the sun.Â
In the meantime, Lavie, his Roserade, and his Delcatty, Aria, are lounging near the waters. Aria is soaking her feet on the crashing waves, catching drips of water on her fur to keep herself cool. Lavie is graciously inhaling the vicious heat of the sun, closing her eyes while Delcatty purrs contentedly beside her.Â
But the one who seems to have the most fun out of this day is Optimus. Gallade is conversing with the other psychic fighting types on the beach, practicing their kicks and punches while their trainers are either battling themselves or simply enjoying the day, like Wally. Optimus doesnât get much rest, and heâs always loved going on tiny trips near the water.Â
âYou know âŠâ Wally looks at Arcane, smiling a little suspiciously at his Garchomp. âYou should really enjoy yourself while weâre here. Youâve been working hard.â A little too hard, sometimes. âI want you to have fun, too.âÂ
Garchomp only shakes his head, glancing at Wally before he spot something over his trainerâs head. The Pokemon pulls himself up from the sand, nodding at Wally before pointing the direction. Wally stands up and rubs the sand off his shorts as he surveys the area, trying to see what caught Arcaneâs attention. It isnât long before he sees a trainer; in fact, not just any trainer, but a man not many can find.Â
Wally sprints toward the farther edge of the beach, with Garchomp right behind him. He stops when Steven Stone himself acknowledges him, and before he can stop himself, a blush grows over his cheeks in embarrassment as well.Â
âOh,â Wally says, blinking out his surprise. âI, uh, I can help if you want.âÂ
