Desde el plebiscito quedó claro que en Colombia existen dos países distintos. Uno es una Colombia conservadora que sigue convencida de que la mano dura y la violencia son la solución a todo, que ve cualquier avance social como una amenaza y que muchas veces responde a la diferencia con intolerancia. El otro es una Colombia que cree en los derechos humanos, en la inclusión y en que la gente merece mejores oportunidades y una vida más digna.

El problema es que ninguna de las dos logra imponerse. Llevamos años divididos casi 50/50, y así es muy difícil construir cambios duraderos. Cada avance encuentra una resistencia enorme y cada gobierno termina intentando deshacer lo que hizo el anterior. Más que la polarización, el gran problema de Colombia es que seguimos atrapados en ese empate. La izquierda solo puede avanzar a través de la educación política.
