Hot take: I’m not a fan of a lot of SAGAUs because 99% of the time they’re Imposter AUs that always either end in the creator getting tortured and dying or the characters beating up the creator until they found out they’re the real deal but it’s too late for some reason(AND THEY STILL FUCKING DIE). Occasionally the creator gets reincarnated but they ALWAYS DIE.

The creator dying isn’t an inherently bad thing but it’s just exhausting to read over and over again.

I genuinely want a SAGAU where the creator is just a guy who looks like an NPC who helps out in Mondstadt and he’s a benevolent god who helps people and the archons just can’t put two and two together.

Kinda like how in Miraculous they see Ladybug and they see Marinette but a lot of people can’t exactly tell Ladybug is Marinette until she flat out TELLS them (the “Adrien is blind” joke exists for a reason. Also I know there’s a different in universe explanation for why they can’t tell she’s Ladybug but still)

They don’t kill the guy, they just don’t see how the great and mighty creator is just…that guy who works at General Goods in Mondstadt and helps with the produce.

I just thought it would be cool to see a SAGAU where the Creator isn’t recognized but also doesn’t just get killed off for the 817728389462681st time

I tend to isolate myself from most of the TMF fandom so I’m incredibly oblivious about drama going on there

Like I had no clue what was happening on AO3, I don’t really do anything on TikTok apart from posting my art, and I barely post on Instagram

I guess that’s probably why I have such a positive view of the TMF fandom, because I’ve heard all the drama in hindsight, not when it was ACTUALLY happening

Not because I think the drama never happened, but because I don’t know about it, and so I never really thought about it

I have three main theories for what might be the main conflict for season 2:

First one I had a few years back before rosy confirmed there would be no competition in s2 is a battle of the bands competition. But it’s more like the “battle for who gets to be friends with Jake”. Which I’m glad probably won’t be a thing because that would be a repeat of season 1 which I REALLY DON’T WANT.

Second theory is Maxed Out’s fame starts to overshadow the Music Club or something, which I never really thought about much for some reason.

The third and final theory I have is that there WON’T be a big conflict, that season 2 will be more introspective, that instead of focusing on one big problem building until the final episode, there will be tiny conflicts throughout the season focusing on each of the characters’ external and internal struggles. This seems to be the more likely option but still everything is up in the air so idk

Some people say “Liam is a misunderstood dude who was manipulated by Drew.” Similar deal with Henry.

Other people say “no they were like that by default and they see nothing wrong with it and they are very well aware of what they are doing”

I’m personally on the side of “they started only doing it to please Drew until it became their actual personality” similar to how Cady started out as pretending to be one of the Plastics but ended up actually unironically becoming a Plastic herself if you get what I’m saying

Like it started out as “oh we’re just doing this so that Drew won’t bully us”, and then it evolved into “k I guess we’re just like this now”
