i'm actually kinda proud of myself for not once sympathizing with snow just because a pretty white man is playing that role because i've always had this fear that somehow i'll ignore all the obvious red flags in a man simply becuase he is good-looking and land in serious trouble but i'm so glad that even when i wasn't aware my sub-conscious had already picked on what's right and what's not and i don't/won't find myself falling for pretty men DESPITE their red flags. its kinda relieving you know? like i'll probably always dodge a bullet. a pretty hot bullet but a bullet nonetheless

coriolanus snow be proving "if he wanted to, he would. but he didn't" in a weird sense of way. like bitch had so many instances to see the goodness in humanity, how even in the most adverse of conditions there's still so much goodness and compassion in humans for fellow humans. be it sejanus or his own cousin tigris or reaper or lamina or jessup hell even the girl who said "i couldn't have killed them all for nothing", even lucy gray herself, but instead he chose to unsee all that and believe in gaul's idea of "humans are savage in general the hunger games just bring it to the fore front" even though its absolutely not true because most of them wouldn't have done what they did in there if the capitol government hadn't forced them into a position where they didn't really have any choice but to kill to survive. just like lucy gray said there's some natural goodness in all of us, what i believe is we also have some natural bad in us too now its up to us whether we nurture that goodness or that evil to the point where there's no coming back from either and that's what snow did when he chose to see only the evil in everyone and couldn't see goodness anymore. you know what i mean?
