Okay, but WHAT IF…?  ^_~

I’ve been slowly rewatching Yuri On Ice these last couple of weeks (the English dub this time so I don’t have to read subtitles while drawing).  I’ll watch on a separate window while sketching some of my favorite key moments. 

I stopped at episode 7, as you can see… Should I draw some more from the later episodes?  I’ve gotten kind of addicted to drawing “Yurie” and “Viktoria.”  XD  Also, asymmetrical bobs are the BOMB.

I wonder if YOI would have gotten as popular as it has if the main characters had been female.  I hope so!

Opinions that not only can but actually need to coexist:

Internet smut and fetish content shouldn’t be so strewn around and unfiltered that children can trip over it on the way to a Minecraft stream.

Social media brands have been cracking down on adult content in alarmingly regressive ways that empower anti-lgbt agendas, criminalize an ever broadening definition of “sex work,” and yeah, on a lesser but still meaningful note, strangle a lot of art and expression that wasn’t even as lewd as what you can still catch on TV.

This thing where everyone feels shamed into taking one of two extreme sides about every sexual topic, like in this case you’re allegedly either standing with homophobic puritan troglodytes or with incest fanfic NAMBLA troglodytes, has been been around for eternity but it sounds like it’s about to go more mainstream than it ever has before, that’s gonna a fun next few years maybe.

on top of this, blanket bans on adult content prevent implementing actual ways to keep it away from minors. compare a site that just lets you tag something as “adult content” to prevent accounts under 18 (and anyone who decides to filter it) from seeing it, to a site where adult content has to explicitly avoid tagging itself as such to fly under the radar of bans and therefore gets mixed in with all the same content recommended towards people of every age including minors
