Saw Karolina in a crown and now my stupid little brain is screaming about a royalty arranged marriage AU with prince!Chase and Princess!Karolina where they each have their personal trusty guards (Nico and Gert OBVIOUSLY) and then they all just end up running away or smth bc fuck that lmao

Like Nico fighting with actual magic? She’s a paladin maybe, or just a straight up warlock or wizard. And her magic is INSANE, where the scholar-turned-knight Gert only because a knight bc a bunch of men told her that it was better that she stayed to her books and left the actual fighting to the men? PLEASE. Imagining Chase having to listen for WEEKS because they’re childhood friends obv obv (her parents being the Royal physicians Maybe?) and then helping her become a knight. And she HATES him for it lowkey bc she thinks she only succeeded because of him but all he did was make people listen to what she had to say - she was the one who convinced them.

Just..... Karolina and Chase being both very duty bound and taking their futures so seriously and pretending to not mind their marriage because it’s easier this way. And it’s what they’re supposed to do. But then Gert practices with that sword in the morning and Chase has to catch his breath, or Nico defends Karolina and she has to pretend it doesn’t make her body glow with warmth and adoration and

And love.

Because GOD, these married-to-he’s are in love. But not with each other.

Fuck.
