THE ERAS TOUR (March 17, 2023 — December 8, 2024)
We would go on to play this show in the pouring rain, in the blazing heat, in the thickest humidity, in the wildest winds, and in the bitter cold. We would do it if we were sick or exhausted or injured. We would do it with a broken heart. We do this because we love having the rare opportunity to create happiness and wonder up on that stage. We do it because we know it takes time and effort and money and energy to plan out coming to a concert. We do it because every friendship bracelet traded has the potential to become a new friend, and you never know what dreams can be sparked if we succeed in painting a dreamscape in every city we visit. We do it because people need an escape from how brutal life can be, and it is the honor of a lifetime to be that for them, if only for a night. And although we are all on our own in this big scary life, somehow it doesn't feel that way when we're singing the same words as 80,000 other people wearing glittery face paint. We do it because life comes in waves, in phases, in brilliant flurries of magical moments, and all of these things come together to create... Eras.
“Do it scared” “do it badly” it’s time to drop the guide for do it alone
Doing it scared and doing it badly is one thing, but no one seems to talk about doing it alone. When you feel so isolated from your friends and your family but you have shit to do and you have to get it done no matter what. When your support system really is only you. For any myriad of reasons. We do not talk enough about doing it alone.
Want guides? I do Guides.

Other things? Job, Food, Car, Home, Health, Money. Plus a request form.

what does turkish delight taste like and is it worth the events that occurred in chronicle of narnia: the lion the witch and the wardrobe
So the first thing you must understand is that there are two basic types of Turkish delight. The first kind is what most people are familiar with, which are these gelatinous cubes covered in powdered sugar. They are, by most metrics, an acquired taste:
This is usually the stuff people try and say, “Yeah, I don’t get it, Edmund.” But if you go to a good Turkish confectioner (or just any of the bazillion stores that sell it in the Istanbul markets) you’ll see a second kind of Turkish delight, in a rolled shape:
This is the good stuff. The sell-your-soul-and-your-family stuff. It’s nutty and chewy and creamy and comes in all sorts of flavors, and I highly recommend it to anyone. (Especially hazelnut. It’s not a traditional flavor but I’m convinced the White Witch dipped into the future to get some for Edmund, it is that delicious.)
The second thing you need to understand is that the turkish delight was laced with mind-control drugs.
The third thing you need to understand is Edmond was living under WII sugar rationing

Fuck this one hits home.
fiber crafts is like oh you think you know how to count? think again. also count again.
for people who do not do fiber crafts, i will explain just how bad this is.
you are knitting something. it is supposed to be 50 stitches. you keep getting 51. what the hell.
you put in stitch markers every 10 stitches to keep you on track. 10 stitches, marker, 10 more, etc.
all is well for exactly 1 row
you knit 10 stitches, slide the marker over, knit 10 more, look back at the stitches you stitched, and somehow there are 11 in that last section.
how. what happened. you swear up and down you counted 10 as you did it
you count again. ok. definitely 11.
you un-knit the last section a stitch at a time until you find the renegade, fix it, proceed.
everything looks normal.
you go to knit the next row.
somehow there are 49 stitches.
that thing you fixed up above to make 11 stitches be 10 again is somehow 9.
no i don't know how either, and I've been knitting for 20 years. it happens in crochet, too, and I've been doing that for 40 years.
