Things certainly had changed. Not even just with the wizarding world falling apart either. Danielle had tried to run her own shop, but ultimately it was burned down by the death-eater's. They had even managed to write traitor on the front wall for her to find. She had known it was what her and Thom were so they had to be extra careful. The manor was essentially on lock down and had been as it was the safest route. Danielle had even suggested her family home as it was away from England, but that seemed like running away. Greyson had celebrated his first birthday with several milestones inbetween. Being a mother was one of the most rewarding jobs she had ever had. He was a blessing that she didn't feel she even deserved, and each day she tried her best to protect him. With him holding her finger, Danielle let Greyson walk his little wobbly steps beside her as they went for the kitchen. She had dressed him up in his Halloween custome--a superhero-- and wanted to show Thom. "I know we can't go out, but I'm sure we can do something here. I don't want him to miss out." She bent down to pick up Greyson.
