system names / collective names are so interesting and special to me. i love learning about why a system chose a certain sys / collective name :> !!

i chose 'the raindrops system' for us for a lot of different reasons, and to be honest, it is kind of hard to explain. but the general gist of it is that rain (the weather) means a lot to me; it can represent sadness, but it doesn't always have to. rain provides such a necessary nutrient to life, water. i love rain, i love the smell of rain, the sound of it, the feeling of it on my skin, it is really nice.

rain can feel lonely, but it can also feel peaceful. i think it sums up our system; there's a lot of sadness and loneliness, but there is also hope and happiness.

The reason we call ourselves the Rainbow System is because we identify ourselves with different colors. Walker is white, Amanda is purple, Xander is deep red, and so on

this post is for the systems who aren't constantly switching and usually only switch from the host for a few hours at best. a lot of systems always seem to be switching a lot and seeing that lead me into denial because our switches aren't as frequent and it's the host that's fronting the majority of the time. it's normal and you don't have to have hella switches every day to be a system. just remember there's no set or "right" way to be a system <3
