MEETING EDEN: Lil-Lucifer AU Fanfic
With a quick of a flash like a bolt of lightening, the four angelic beings landed upon the ground, almost leaving a huge crater among the miles of grassy fields. Looking around at their new surroundings. The garden itself wasn’t like anything close to resembling the green houses and gardens in heaven, in fact this place was on a much bigger scale. It was truly a sanctuary sculpted by the hands of the divine for every blade of grass shimmered with dew and every flower bloomed in perpetual splendour. There was no fences or glass walls to keep anything in, but an entire open world with miles of greenery. Fruit trees heavy with abundance—figs, pomegranates, apples, and dates—stood in orderly groves, their branches stretching skyward, eager to share their sweetness. Vines curled around marble columns, offering grapes that glistened like amethysts in the sunlight. Then there were the never-ending sounds of life all around them. Birds singing in the trees -bees and beetle’s wings buzzling from one plant to another – grunts, roars and howls from mammals close by. All roaming around freely doing as they pleased without any restraint. There were rivers which seemed to ran in opposite directions, some forming waterfalls from the high mountains.
“It’s…so…beautiful!” Raphael spoke up, his eyes filled with watery tears as he took in the entire scenery before him. It was truly a magnificent sight to behold.
Michael, Lucifer and Gabriel also took a moment to admire the scenery, having next seen or experienced something like this. It was a strange feeling, feeling the breezes which blew softly against their fur, listening to all the sounds from the tallest animals to the smallest of creatures. Even the sounds of the rivers which seemed to run in all different directions felt alive as the mountains stood tall, overlooking every inch of the land.
“Well, I guess father really had his work cut out”, Gabriel admitted with a smile. Of course father was never once to disappoint when it same to his creation.
Lucifer noticed a tall tree nearby that was growing something rather peculiar. It wasn’t a flower like the ones he had seen before. Always being the curious one, his instincts took over him within an instant as he flapped his wings and flew up towards the top of the tree to get a closer look.
“Lucifer, what!” Michael called out as he followed close behind.
“Relax Mike, I’m just having a closer look”, Lucifer called as he came across shrub covered in a thin blue skin. Carefully grabbing the branch which supported the shrubs, the angel placed his nose close to the fruit and began to smell it. It was odd…it didn’t smell anything like a flower, but it still contained a very sweet aroma.
“You shouldn’t touch things that might be dangerous”, Mike spoke up, watching close by as he gripped onto the tree with is wings still open, allowing himself to remain balanced.
“Huh, what do you think it is Mike?” Lucifer pondered, using his fingers to touch the fruit, completely ignoring Mike’s concerns.
Rooling his eyes, Mike took a quick glance towards whatever the shrub was, unsure what it was himself.
“How should I know? I’m not exactly privileged enough to watch father create his creations. Besides, it could be poison”, he mumbled suspiciously.
“Oh yeah, father would defiantly make something capable of poisoning his most desired creation. Makes perfect sense”, Lucifer said sarcastically as he picked off one of the mysterious shrubs and popped it into his mouth without question, leaving Mike no time to attempt to snatch the object away from him.
Mike could only watch with caution as Lucifer chewed whatever was in his mouth, silently praying father wouldn’t be too upset that one of them was already messing with his creation.
As Lucifer chewed the fruit, he felt his tastebuds become filled with a sweet flavouring, one he had never tasted before….not that angels needed food…but the sweetness…it was something he had never encountered before.
“Whoa….Mike, you have got to try this!” he said with excitement as if a child had tried candy for the very first time, grabbing three more and shoving one into Mike’s hands before flying back down to where Gabriel and Raphael were still waiting.
“Guys, you need to try this stuff…it’s so good! Like better then anything you ever tasted before!” he said whilst shoving the fruit into their hands.
“Uh Luci…I don’t think this is exactly allowed”, Raphael spoke with concern, looking at the shrub as if it was some kind of alien.
“Come on guys, we’re in dad’s garden! Why not take this as an opportunity to explore everything? Let loose once in a millennium”.
Hearing these words seemed to shift something in Michael as his mind began to echo the words that the dominion had warned him earlier. Clutching his fists, the angel landed on the ground in front of Gabriel and Raphael, grabbing the fruit and throwing them onto the ground.
“Mike! What the hec…”, Lucifer began to protest only to be interrupted by Mike.
“Look! We were sent here on an important mission, to find father’s newest creation. We’re not here to play games or mess around,” he spoke in a serious tone, which only seemed to shock and confuse everyone. Usually Michael wasn’t this stern. Sure he had his serious moments, but nothing like this.
Gabriel stepped forward to place a hand upon one of his shoulders, “Hey, let’s calm down a little. We’re just excited, that’s all”, he said trying to reason with him a little before turning towards Lucifer, “Maybe we shouldn’t mess around too much, afterall…I really would like to see the little creature. Who knows? It could be intelligent like us”.
“Ugh…fine. No need to yell at everyone Mike”, Lucifer grumbled as he crossed his arms.
“But how will we find it? This place goes on for many miles, and we don’t even know what it looks like?” Raphael spoke up as he looked before the large jungle-like forest ahead.
Before either one could answer, a strange unfamiliar force within them seemed to be guiding them towards the same direction, deep into the jungle before them. It was far away, but still the four of them could just barely make out a small shadow moving around on all fours…as if it was crawling.
“Well, guess we got our answer,” Gabriel smirked as he and the others began to walk towards the jungle.
As his brothers pressed onward, Michael lingered at the edge of the thick undergrowth, his features cast in shadow and uncertainty. He watched Gabriel’s easy camaraderie with the others and listened to the fading echoes of their laughter, a pang of doubt gnawing at his resolve. Had he been too rigid, too quick to silence their wonder? Was he becoming the very thing he’d always vowed not to be—unyielding, cold, a stranger to the joys of discovery that once delighted him?
Michael closed his eyes, searching for balance between the duty that defined him and the curiosity that bound them as brothers.
“What do you suppose that was about?” Gabriel questioned his brothers quietly, not wanting to further upset him.
“Who knows? Maybe he hit his head when he landed here”, Lucifer shrugged, still feeling a little bitter from before, “I mean it wasn’t like I was doing the worst thing”.
“I wouldn’t take it too personally Lu. I think he’s been going through a lot lately. Have you not seen the way he looks after coming back from his training lately?” Raphael questioned as he recalled several times where Michael would come back from training looking rather tired and frustrated.
“Maybe you should speak to him about it”, Gabriel suggested, “Afterall, you’ll be the angel of healing…this might be a great test for you”, he nudged his brother.
“You know I can hear you guys!” Mike yelled from a few meters behind.
Everyone stopped and looked at him as he approached, “If there is something you want to discuss about me, please say it directly.”
Raphael was the one to make his move, approaching his brother with a calm but concerned look upon his face, “Mike, we’re worried for you”, he spoke in his soft domineer.
“What do you mean?” Michael raised an eyebrow, although deep down he could already figure out what they were going to say.
Raphael hesitated for a moment, glancing briefly at Gabriel and Lucifer before turning back to Michael. “We’ve noticed you’ve changed, Mike. You seem… distant. It’s like you carry every burden alone,” he said, his voice gentle, almost pleading.
“We aren’t trying to criticise you. We just… miss how things were. When you laughed with us instead of watching from the sidelines,” Gabriel spoke next.
“I…”, Mike was about to speak only for Lucifer to interrupt.
“Don’t think we haven’t noticed. You come back from training half-shattered, and you barely say a word unless it’s about duty or orders. You’re not a machine, Michael.”
For a heartbeat, Michael seemed poised to deflect, but the resolve in his brothers’ faces pressed on him like a tangible weight. He let out a slow breath. “I know I haven’t been myself. I’m… trying. It’s just—” He faltered, gripping the haft of his spear as if it could anchor him. “I want to be the leader Father expects. I want to be strong, reliable. You all look to me, and I can’t let you down.”
Gabriel’s expression softened, and Raphael reached out, resting a reassuring hand on Michael’s shoulder. “No one expects you to be perfect, Mike,” Raphael murmured. “We just want our brother—flaws and all.”
Lucifer sighed softly as he approached his brother, wrapping his arms around Mike’s shoulders just like they used to as kids, “Yeah, don’t go turning into some ice-cold statue on us. If you’re having a hard time, say it. We’re not going anywhere”, he winked.
At that moment, Mike couldn’t help but smile a little, feeling as if the burden had lightened for a second. “I’ll try. Things have been… rough. But I don’t want to push you all away. You deserve better.”
“We just want you with us,” Gabriel said quietly. “Not above us.”
For a moment, the tension eased, their bond reaffirmed in the quiet dusk beneath the tangled canopy. The strange sounds from the nearby brush returned their focus outward, but the air between them was clearer, the shadows over Michael’s heart just a little less heavy.
“We should get going…I think we’re getting closer”, Mike spoke again, only this time more softer.
After a short time of exploring what seemed to be the never ending jungle filled with so many different creatures alike, all four angels came to a sudden halt as the feeling grew much closer. It was almost here. They could sense it. They observed in silence as the sound of movement grew closer, accompanied by unusual, high-pitched noises. The angels became more alert, uncertain of what to expect.
Lucifer thought it might resemble a tiger or bear—any animal with teeth and claws seemed plausible. Michael and Gabriel remained still, unsure of what would appear. Michael held onto his spear as a precaution, despite assurances that the creature was harmless. Raphael, meanwhile, was having difficulty containing his curiosity and wanted to get a better look.
“This thing is taking too long,” Lucifer remarked, expressing impatience. “I suggest we go in and bring it out to examine it,” he added, preparing to move forward.
The others stopped him, holding him back. “No!”
“What is it?”
“You might frighten it. Let’s just wait and observe,” Gabriel responded, attempting to remain rational, though he was also somewhat uneasy.
“Frighten it? This is supposed to be our father’s most significant creation. It’s likely no more intimidating than any of us,” Lucifer snorted.
“In that case, we should avoid provoking it, as it could potentially cause harm,” Raphael commented quietly.
Lucifer crossed his arms. “Fine, but I am not afraid of anything.”
"Says the same angel who leaves the dominions," Gabriel hummed to himself which didn’t go fully unheard.
"What was that?" responded in a low tone.
"Oh nothing," Gabriel replied neutrally, aiming to avoid any more bickering.
Just then, a rustle in the undergrowth made them all tense. Leaves parted, and with surprising determination, the creature they had waited for emerged, crawling awkwardly on all fours out of the green tangle. Dappled sunlight flickered across its face, illuminating its pink skin and wild hair as it blinked up at the ring of angels now standing motionless.
Lucifer stepped back, momentarily startled despite his bravado, while Gabriel instinctively knelt, trying to make himself less imposing. Michael tightened his grip on his staff, ready, yet unwilling to make the first move. Raphael held his breath, captivated by the creature’s innocence.
The tiny being paused, seeming to notice the gathering for the first time. Its eyes grew round with wonder, and it gurgled a soft sound, teetering uncertainly before plopping onto the grass. For a heartbeat, both mortals and immortals stared at one another, the silence only broken by the gentle breeze and the creature’s delighted squeak.
Then, slowly, the angels drew closer, cautious but curious, as the creature reached out towards them, bridging the distance with fearless trust.
They glanced down to see a small, pink-skinned creature with bright hair and curious green eyes standing unsteadily nearby. Its tiny fingers moved as if grasping the air, and it squeaked, “Baabaa,” looking straight at them.
The angels hesitated, unsure how to respond. “What’s it saying?” Raph whispered.
Gabriel replied nervously, "How should I know? I’ve never heard this language."
Lucifer, unsurprised, bent closer to observe the creature, which stared back with its large green eyes.
“Baa baa, baa baa”, the tiny creature babbled once again, only this time it seemed more excited as a big smile began to form, her arms waving about.
“Careful Luci, this creature might attack you”, Michael warned.
Raph whispered nervously, “So…what do we do with it?”
The others went quiet as they themselves were not entirely sure how to look after the small creature. So far all it did was attempt to move closer towards the angels, make strange squeaks and babbling noises, even at one point put its hand into her mouth and suck on it, not caring if it was covered in dirt or grass.
“We could try to befriend it…after all, the dominions said it would be our duty to watch over the mortals. Perhaps we could practice with her. What do you think Mike?”
Michael kept his eyes fixed on the mysterious creature, considering its harmless and non-threatening behaviour. He decided it was likely safe to approach but cautioned retreat if anything changed.
Raphael acknowledged him and knelt to observe the small human, who looked up with wide blue eyes and moved closer, babbling and reaching out. Though nervous and ready to pull back, the angel felt an unfamiliar yet compelling warmth building inside him.
“Baaah baah! Baaah baaah!” the tiny human babbled again, this time with much more excitement and began to lift her arms up towards him, as if indicating something.
“I think it wants you to pick her up”, Gabriel whispered as he watched curiously, wondering what it’s intentions were. He had to admit, she was a very fascinating and adorable…but still didn’t fully grasp what great things something so small and delicate could bring.
Raphael took in a breath before taking the risk but carefully picking up the small child by her sides, lifting her gently from the ground, watching her little legs kick.
“Careful Raph…don’t drop it”, Michael warned him.
“Don’t worry Mike…she’s very light…and very wriggily”, he said whilst keeping her body inches away from him, just to see what she would do. So far so good.
Lucifer couldn’t help but roll his eyes, “Are you guys seriously scared of this thing. Look at it. It’s got no teeth or claws…looks like a hairless gorilla too me”, Lucifer said in an unimpressed tone.
"Alright Luci…why don’t you hold it then”, Gabriel teased.
Lucifer went quiet for a moment as he looked at the small child with contempt, not entirely sure if he was really up to the idea of doing so since this creature was very strange to him but of course being lucifer he wasn’t one to let himself look like a fool in front of his brothers.
“Fine, give it to me”, he grumbled as he took the child out of Raphael’s hands and held it up, trying to study it whilst keeping it’s small hands away from his face in case it tried to claw at him.
“Baa baa baa baa”, the baby squeaked with excitement, wriggling it’s little legs and arms around, seemingly happy to be held by him.
“Well well, I think she like’s you Lu”, Gabriel grinned.
Her tiny weight pressed into his palms, not burdensome, but so impossibly light it was almost unsettling. He studied her with narrowed, sceptical eyes, expecting some sign of mischief or threat, yet all he found was the innocent blinking of wide, trusting eyes peering up at him. Her miniature fingers reached for a stray lock of his hair, catching nothing but air, and the soft, delighted babble spilled from her mouth like laughter.
Lucifer felt a jolt of irritation—was she mocking him? A part of him wanted to scoff, to toss some clever retort at his brothers, to shrug this off as ridiculous. But beneath that bravado, something unexpected flickered. Not fear, nor anger, but a strange, reluctant tenderness, like the last embers of a fire refusing to die out.
“Father mentioned it would become powerful one day? Maybe we should find out if that theory is true” he said, lifting the toddler as if he was about to throw her,
“LUCIFER!” his brothers shouted in unison, their voices echoing.
“What?”
Raphael reminded him, “Father told us to protect her, not hurt her! What are you thinking?!”
“I wasn’t going to throw her off a cliff—just drop her,” Lucifer resorted.
“She’s clearly too fragile for that Lucifer! She could get seriously hurt and father will have our heads for it”, Michael tried to reason, hoping for once his brother wouldn’t do anything too reckless or make father angry.
“Ugh, fine!” Lucifer grumbled as he then shoved the creature into Michael’s chest, “How about you hold her”
Michael stood frozen for a moment with a look of uncertainty on his face. Seeing the hesitation, Lucifer smirked, “What’s the matter Mikey…scared of father’s new pet?”
Frowning at his brother’s words, Mike relucent picked up the small creature with his powerful hands, his blue eyes watching it’s every movement as if he were waiting for a sudden attack. Was this going to be another test father put him up too? Either way, he couldn’t fail him. He had to always be prepared for the unexpected.
The little mortal looked up straight into Michael’s eyes, as if she herself was the one studying him, almost catching him off guard. There was a moment of silence before the small creature tried to raise her arms up towards him, babbling and squeaking more sounds. Sensing no danger, the angel tried to relax his body although kept himself on guard mentally as he slowly moved the baby towards his chest.
With in an instant, the child used her small hands to grab onto Michael’s robes, trying to use her small stumpy legs to push herself up towards the angel’s face, trying to get a closer look at him. Her hands still covered in dirt and grass began to explore his face, her hands patting and stroking his soft fur before trying to grab one of his ears and tug at them as if she believed they would simply fall off. Not that is caused any pain since she yet didn’t have the strength.
Michael carefully cradled the small creature in his strong hands, his gaze fixed on her as though bracing for the unexpected—after all, Father’s tests came in many forms, and he could not allow himself to fail.
The little mortal stared up at Michael, meeting his eyes with surprising intensity, almost as if she were the one appraising him. For a brief, silent moment, it was unclear who was studying whom. Then, with a series of cheerful squeaks and babbling sounds, the child stretched her arms toward him.
Cautiously, Michael relaxed, adjusting the child against his chest while remaining vigilant. Suddenly, she grabbed at his robes, her small legs pushing as she tried to climb closer to his face. Her grubby hands roamed his features, patting and stroking the softness of his hair before making a determined grab for one of his ears, tugging experimentally. Fortunately, she lacked the strength to cause any discomfort—her curiosity far outweighing her power.
Gabriel watched the scene unfold with a mixture of amusement and growing curiosity. He observed with his golden eyes flickering with thoughtfulness, then stepped forward to get a closer look. He regarded the mortal child, her head now resting against Michael’s shoulder as she blinked up at him with unabashed wonder. For some reason he felt a gentle smile tug at his own lips.
“May I?” Gabriel asked.
Michael glanced at him, uncertainty flickering in his blue eyes, but after a heartbeat, he nodded, shifting the child carefully into Gabriel’s waiting arms.
To his brothers, Gabriel always seemed at ease, no matter the circumstance. Now, as he cradled the child, she stilled, her wide eyes fixed upon his serene face. Gabriel studied her tiny features—the smudge of earth across her brow, the wild tangle of hair, the lingering tremor of uncertainty in her hands.
“There now,” Gabriel murmured, his tone soothing, “no need to be afraid.” He traced a single finger along the child’s arm, and a soft laugh bubbled from her lips—a burst of sound so pure and bright that even Lucifer, lurking nearby with arms crossed, seemed momentarily disarmed.
Gabriel’s gaze swept upward, meeting Michael’s. “She’s braver than she looks,” he remarked, a gleam of admiration shining in his eyes. “Perhaps Father’s lesson is not for us to teach her, but for her to teach us.”
The little mortal responded with another fit of giggles, tugging at a lock of Gabriel’s hair with fearless abandon.
“What does father want us to do with it?” Lucifer asked, still unsure of its purpose. No one else seemed to know either.
A hush lingered as the question hung in the air, each brother searching the others’ faces for an answer. Michael’s brow furrowed ever so slightly, the weight of responsibility etched in the subtle lines around his eyes. Gabriel, still cradling the child, seemed untroubled, swaying gently as if keeping cadence with the quiet rhythm of her heartbeat.
Lucifer circled them, careful not to let his curiosity betray his stoic expression. “If this is some sort of test,” he mused, voice low, “it is unlike any we have faced before. She is neither warrior nor prophet. She is… simply herself.”
The child, unconcerned by the gravity of celestial deliberation, reached her hand toward Lucifer, offering him, without ceremony, a wildflower she had plucked from the hem of Gabriel’s robe. The simple gesture startled him, his stern façade faltering as he glanced from the delicate bloom to the child’s expectant face.
Gabriel’s soft laughter rippled through the hush. “Perhaps that is the point. She offers what she has—small, honest gifts—in the face of all our doubts.”
Michael nodded, a new resolve kindling in his eyes. “Then we shall watch over her, and learn what we may. For now, that is enough.”
Lucifer, after a moment’s hesitation, accepted the flower. The child beamed, delighted by her triumph, and the circle of angels bent closer, curiosity blooming in their hearts as wide and wild as any field of earthly flowers.

Phew, sorry this took so long, ten pages long by the way. I hope this turned out okay, I'm not the best writer but tried my best.
If you guys are curious to know what fruit Lucifer is trying, it's Honey Berry.
If anyone wants to make pictures based on these scenes, please do. In plan on writing more in the future.
Based on the @lilluciferau
Gasp! How dare you!!!! lol. No worries at all. Glad you enjoyed it. I really need to write another scene soon.
"Before the Fall"
Took three days but like. Better late than never i guess
He looks weird in my style, something with his face looks off but like, I ain't going back just to fix it it's too late
I'm tired X")
He’s preparing for war by the looks of it. Looks really awesome!!!! 🤩
Soooo, what do you guys think of my written chapter so far?
Hey Samael and Raziel, long time no see huh. Anyway, I got another question for the pair of you. What is the most pettiest debate you guys ever had?
Huh? These guys? Am I the new lilluciferau blog? /j
I haven't drawn them in years. Raz looks WEIRD. Funny story but I was gonna do some extra doodles starting from Samael but halfway through the sketch my fucking stylus pen tip snapped in half and got stuck in a way that we CANNOT get it out so now all art is on hold until my new pen arrives on Tuesday, thanks Sammy <3
Back when Samael was an angel...
Listen, I don't talk to people so I've no idea what would count as a petty debate so just have this. Existential dread is always on my mind 😭
Yay!!! Great to see the boys are back!!! I missed them. lol.
Yup, that would be Samael in a nutshell, asking weird questions to raz to wind him up, or attempt too anyway.

Michael <3
Idk why I drew him standing like that, I didn't use a reference don't bully me
But OUGH I love him so much hear me out y'all
@lilluciferau hi I'm bothering you again
OMG! This is awesome!!!! You did an amazing job!!!
Hello which angel is your favorite when it comes to Lil lucifer au?
Good question. I really like them all due to their own personalities.
However if I had to pick one, it be Gabriel. I feel he’s one of those mystery guys who looks all calm and charming on the surface, but it’s actually a facade. That underneath it he’s got complicated thoughts on situations, is a deep thinker and maybe deep down wonders if things will change. Plus he loves mortals and pretending to be one, maybe it’s his way to escape for some time from the pressures of heaven. Afterall, he’s got a stressful job which I can totally relate.
I absolutely agree with you. I think that’s why he’s very relatable to a lot of people. At least this version of him lol. 😅

Soooooo
If I were willing to post up a couple of written scenes, would some of you be willing to make fan art out of them? :D
I'd compare these to my old drawings of them but I think if I was to look at my old art I'd perish from embarrassment lmao. I didn't have enough time to draw Mike yet, I've had... a day
The angels <3 drawn completely from memory which is definitely not a bad idea
Plus I got major deja vu from drawing these for some reason
@lilluciferau
Looks amazing! Your art is getting better. ❤️
Hey guys, sorry I haven’t been around much. Life is just busy right now with work and stuff.
Hey guys, so sorry I haven’t been active this weekend. Had to run some errands and felt too burnt out to draw anything. But on the upper hand…omg I just discovered a very interesting new device on my Microsoft word. Basically it’s an ai device that helps you write a story and scenes. I decided to try a few scenes from my au and omg, it’s amazing! I am definitely going to use it to help me out with writing some scenes. I know it’s somewhat cheating, but trust me, the results are amazing.
Which character should I focus on next?
1. Eden
2. Cassidy
3. Cain
4. Amenadiel
5. Hanna
6. Cleotha
