"What is it?" Ciel replied, raising his eyebrows.

Rose felt a small smile tug at her lips. “It’s been so long….” she murmured.

She rose a brow at his sarcastic remark. “I was just asking..” Her reply was muffled out by his continuous remarks. He really wasn’t boding well with their situation. She sighed and grabbed her knives, returning back to the lineup to throw them once again.
They both ended up retrieving their knives a the same time again, only this time he was still rambling on. She sighed and shook her head. “You can’t think of it like that,” she murmured. “We all feel that way, you know, but you’ll have the advantage if you at least pretend to be positive.”
He head nodded towards the direction of their spectators. “Do you see those people?” She paused and waited for him to follow her gaze. “They’re sponsors. If they like what they see, they’ll send you help during the games.” She frowned as she removed her last knife from the dummy. “You don’t have to take my advice, but at least consider your options.”
"I know, I know..." He muttered, twirling a knife as he spoke,staring at it for a moment. "I'll smile and behave for the camera's, pretend like I'm having a good time."
At the very least he could hold back his anger, control his temper when all the important people were watching. That's what everyone else was doing right?
"Rain." He introduced after another moment, tossing the weapon once more. "District Nine."
"I know it’s the middle of the day, but it’s Sunday and I don’t know what to do with this ‘free time’ I’ve been given. So where’s the key to the bar?"
"This sounds like a terrible idea. Did your nerd genes go to sleep or something?"
She threw her knives as quickly as she could, smiling when she found they had hit her target. Although hunting wasn’t permitted back in District 6, often Genna found it was the only way to find food for herself and her family without having to add her name in for the Games. Not like it did any good now anyway, but at least she had one skill that came from it. She was pretty decent at throwing things, and her aim wasn’t that bad either.
She hadn’t noticed the pinkette at first. They were all simply spaced out and lined up so they could practice. She went to her dummy to retrieve the blades she had thrown without another thought. The hard thud that was produced from the knife’s contact with the wall did gain her attention, however. She hadn’t really thought about any of the Tributes missing. That knife could have easily chosen her as a target.
She looked over to see who had thrown it, and quirked a brow when she noticed the male grumbling. Was he upset? “Hey, are…you okay?” She didn’t see the point in ignoring the other tributes. They were all being brought to the slaughter, after all.
"Oh I'm just peachy." He grumbled in sarcasm, re tossing the knife and putting some of his frustration behind it this time, causing it to make it's target perfectly this time.
"I mean who wouldn't be excited about the upcoming death games? Totally looking forward to this glorified blood bath."
He continued to mutter and grumble about his distaste for the games under his breath, most of it in comprehensible as he continued to throw the knives one by one, fetching them once he was done.
"Hate this country..."
Unbeknownst to the world, Hope was falling apart inside.

I don’t know why they made it like that, it actually started this year
it pissed me off even then, since I really looked forward going there, because I was there last year, but then they just were like nope, gonna make this 18+
But like yeah, I don’t see any apparent reason why they made it that way? They can have a panel about DMMd I don’t know honestly?? Because really, it was the same than any con, just without minors, as far as I know.
Then just check badges/IDs at the adult panels and crap like all the other cons do shesh >_>))

"There's just so many things I don't get..." The pinkette muttered to himself, practicing tossing throwing knives at the practice dummies that were available.
He had been watching the other tributes as well,trying to figure out who was going to be best to avoid, as well as possible allies. But what the point of alliances? Sooner or later they were all bound to turn on one another since only one could remain.
Then again...His sister didn't have any allies, and look what happened to her. That thought broke his concentration, altering his aim so the knife ended up in the wall instead, making him grumble under his breath as he walked over and yanked it out.
I need to let go...It's not going to help me stay alive.
