Most people know that my childhood dream is to visit Japan, and I am glad to say that I finally got to cross it off my bucket list! *happy violin* The trip lasted for 5 days and 4 nights, we only roamed around Tokyo. I actually thought we will go to Osaka and Kyoto but there was a typhoon there during our visit so my Aunt said we will try again next time.
On our first day, we went to Shibuya crossing. The most busiest and crowded crossing in Tokyo.
We also got to take a picture of Hachiko's statue. If you haven't watched the movie yet, you're missing half of your life.
My favorite part is riding the train, most of the passengers are in suits/corporate attire. I enjoy noticing small details during our trip. First is, Japanese people really value their time. You will see that they have this fast pace when walking, they all seem in a hurry. Second, if ever there is a delay on the train, it will only take 5 minutes for another train to arrive. Third, the commute is complex but efficient! Plus, they offer a beep card for the entire Tokyo train so you won't need to purchase every time you drop off and ride again for your next destination.
If only there is no corruption in my country, I know very well that it can be as great as Japan too.
One thing I regret during our trip was we didn't get to take a lot of pictures of Japan at night time. Our routine was taking off early in the morning - a lot of walking the entire day - head straight to hotel around 6 to 8pm. I swear, I love walking but not the extent that my feet become sore???
We visited Tokyo Disneyland, the happiest place on Earth! I enjoyed this day the most because of rides and the aesthetic view in every corner of the place. I am honestly in awe because you can actually notice how developed the technology is. It was also my first time to see a robot in real life i'm-
Third day, we visited Meiji Shrine. I see this place a lot and I'm amazed to finally see it up close! This place is filled with trees and torii. They really value the trees in this place, you can search it up that many people in late era planted the trees as a tribute to the Emperor.
We also visited Tokyo Skytree on our third day. I am grateful that I have no fear in heights. LOL
350th floor! I feel like I'm on top of the world! We could have visited the 400th floor but my sister couldn't handle it anymore haha sighs
Fourth Day, Ginza and Yanaka the old town Tokyo. I can't add pics anymore in this post because it's only limited to 10 photos uwu
Ginza is a shopping district in Tokyo. All the rich people are there and everything is so expensive. Meanwhile, Yanaka represents the old town in Tokyo. There's a huge difference in both places and I'm glad I witnessed it.
We also ate a beef in Ginza??? And it was the best thing that ever happened in my life HAHAHAHA
Fifth day, before heading to the airport, me and my sister visited Akihabara. What's the sense of visiting Japan if you don't unleash the weeab in you right?
We actually went to a lot of place that I didn't include in this post. I only mentioned the most memorable part for me. :-)
I hope I get to visit Japan again soon! I will improve my photography skills by then haha
