Brushing off Dust. Letting in New Dust.

Wow, feels like forever I was on this blog I've made. My life went upside-down but in a great way in this past month since starting social media.

I joined twitter, I became a vtuber more or less on a whim to try and make friends. And holy crap did I ever.

I meet Xy, who basically became one of my closest confidants and supporters in life. I owe him everything and need to find a way to support him in turn.

Ag, who's been my number one fan since I first launched, and whose unwavering loyalty and kindness moves me so deeply. I want to entrust more responsibility over the community of Rainy Kagetora to him, he seems to understand it even better than Rainy herself does.

Neko's been great, he's a beacon of positivity, and whenever he drops in to hang out in the community it's always fun. Gor, V, Radi feel like essential people who've shown a lot of support, and who all have fun there. Makes me happy I started it.

Asu-chan's super cool. We seem to just ramble for what has a danger of turning into hours about all sorts of Canadian dork stuff. I'm honestly stunned someone with their charisma isn't at 10k followers already.

Hicchan... I want to know them better, way more. XD I always feel on the backfoot because of how reserved they are so I have to overextend to get words out but, a little part of me likes to figure out ways to get a cute reaction out. Bit of my inner tiger. :P

My twitter is going well, slowly. Wish I had a post or two that went super viral but I suck at memes and my engagement baits must not be that tasty :P But I have a tight-knit community of friends, vtubers and internet afficionados alike. And they matter more than making it big could.

I think my health has declined a lot these past two months though. Voices, blood, insomnia, the bed is a disaster zone at least once or twice a week. But I'm still plugging on, even with courses.

RainyDay Memories. Not sure how long till I make a new diary entry. But I think I enjoyed this little vent post, about stress and about the awesome friends I made in my fledgling vtuber career.

When I take the pill that advertises itself to help with psychotic symptoms, my psychotic symptoms lessen. And when I stop taking it, they come back. Surely I must be faking my schizophrenia in that case

Rainy Doesn't Know How to Play Dark Souls (But Wants To)

It still feels like I've barely scratched the surface of the genre, even after all those game over screens. I wonder if it's better to start playing on Twitch to see if anyone has any tricks beyond Rainy just learning to git gud one day.

Arachnophobia

Sketched this at work on Friday, but not sure if I'd turn this into a page for Rainy Day Memories just yet.

Turns out a few spiders had snuck into my office sometime the night before and decided to torment me while I was in a zoom call with the store owner. He kept looking at me with a slight look of pity as I was sobbing and shaking on camera thinking I'd gone crazy in the middle of the report.

Hate spiders, even if they're so small they can't do much damage. Must be those eyes... ;_;

Nervous

Rainy keeps thinking it's too late for them to get into social media. They wanted friends so badly but every time they seemed to find some, they almost always disappeared within a year.

Rainy always felt alone in some ways, and wanted someone to be creative with, to enjoy the shows and games they liked. Even now, Rainy's still trying to figure out how exactly they want to make friends.

Is it ever too late to get into social media and make channels, I wonder.

Page 1 Draft of Rainy's Impulsive Purchases

Something that happened to me once pretty recently when I forgot my debit cards at home because I was in an anxious rush to get to the store.

...My illustration software feels really barebones when it can't even add in text directly, and I have to write the dialogue by hand. But in some ways it also means I get to spend more time thinking about what's being said... at least till I figure out how to get proper text boxes working in Mischief.

Rainy's very easily addicted to stuff, so gambling is generally something I stay away from. But I make a special exception for Fate/Grand Order. Bundling up under the blanket with your iPad to feel the thrill of the gacha gives me both panic attacks and a huge adrenaline rush.

Sadly I feel like I have a reason to roll nearly every single new character released, even if I don't really like how they play. Rainy's bank account is in constant pain.

Sometimes it gets blue, because life has lots of thunderclouds, but I'll do my best to keep Rainy likeable enough that people want to care about her.
