Hiatus Alert

Umm Hello dear followers.

Im going on a indefinite hiatus on this blog. It’s mainly because Tumblr doesn’t like me posting audio AND also I started an art blog so I need to focus on that.

I still have my [Main Blog] and my [Art Blog] if you are interested. I’ll try to post some music here when there’s an awesome song I HAVE to share (like.. when Epik High or AKMU releases a new album).

Months ago, I found LLLL through zoomlens, and ever since, I’ve been following them on BandCamp and Tumblr. Recently, ZOOM LENS released an album by Oh My Muu, and it’s like the greatest album I’ve ever had since LLLL’s Paradice. And this song is my favorite out of the three.

Oh My Muu Self Help EP [ZLEP-23]

Oh My Muu is the electronic music project of Los Angeles-based producer James Im. The music of Oh My Muu reflects upon the universal experiences of love, reminiscence, and self discovery. His debut EP “Self Help” is about the coming to terms of such emotions and those unpredictable and often contradicting highs and lows. Through the fragility and spark of Im’s delicate melodies, the music takes off like a light breeze flowing through a sentimental haze of warm thoughts. The EP guest features vocalists entirely from the Zoom Lens label, from the equally romantic and internationalist pop stylings of Ulzzang Pistol, to the introverted resilience of yeule, to the tender musings of No Rome. Formed like an inkblot on thick paper, “Self Help” appears in form with a dark and depressing undertone, yet is malleable enough to take shape and absorb splashes of color to paint a beautifully uplifting portrait.
