Okay, but that 30 second Arya moment was a rollercoaster of emotions for me. This was literally my face when it was done.

Another thing I love about Arya and Gendry is that they are so attracted to each other not in spite of features that others might find unattractive, but because of them. Gendry’s a blacksmith. His job is pretty blue collar in comparison to the lords of the manor. Aside from him being handsome, there’s no reason for a high born woman to look at him twice. But when we see Arya ogling him, it’s always when he’s doing his job. He’s a GOOD smith. Arya even comments that his work is really good. She’s absolutely attracted the most viscerally watching him do the thing he’s really good at: iron work. The same seems to go for Gendry with her. Assassin is definitely not a career path for a high born woman and completely out of the realm of socially acceptable in this world, but Gendry is obviously attracted to how good Arya is at her chosen skill. He’s shown appreciating her throwing knives, shooting arrows, and swinging a pike around. She’s a killer and Gendry, who has absolutely picked up on that, not only doesn’t comment on it (sure he doesn’t know the depth of how scary she is, but he’s picked up that her skills are probably not acquired to be charming party tricks) but he is visibly impressed by them. Both of them appreciate what the other is good at, whether that is a normal thing to appreciate in Westeros or not.

Did anyone else notice the "Kai Parker???" written in Alaric's book in Legacies 1x10? He was doing research on the Gemini twin merge and wrote the name there. I don't quite recall what happened to Kai in TVD but could he be making an appearance soon to give Ric some answers on the twins?
