Help My Mom!
My abusive father has withheld part of his alimony from my mother this month, leaving her $600 in the hole. She is unemployed, but is looking for work currently (and has been for months), but all interviews all fell flat. I am struggling to support myself financially, so I can’t help, but I was wondering if you wonderful folks could. what are the autistic characters' stims and special interests?
Reuben
Stims: Chewing on things (an issue, with his fangs), counting things repetitively, and running his hands over soft textures!
Special Interests: He loves Shakespeare, and honestly, though it seems a bit cliche, he loves Romeo and Juliet specifically. Not because he thinks it’s romantic, he thinks the message is really strong and hates that it’s typically missed. Also, he really likes numbers in general! Perhaps it’s a vampire, thing - but he loves them. Hates math, though.
Quincy
Stims: Quincy likes to hand flap, chew on things, crunch things (ice in his mouth or floam in his hands), and rocks back and forth.
Special Interests: Quincy likes plants - succulents, in particular! They aren’t sure what they like about them, but they’re just so pretty! He also really likes monsters - cryptids, in particular. He just never has too much of an opportunity to bring them up.
Keldi
Stims: Keldi hand flaps, sticks his tongue out to warm up his chin, makes little growly noises in the back of his throat, and also enjoys rocking back and forth!
Special Interests: Keldi’s main special interest is an in canon fairytale called The Star and The Bard he could - and he has, in scripts - go on endless tangents about the characters and their interpersonal relationships. To a lesser extent, he has a fascination with magic, and also prides himself in how quickly he can teach himself certain spells.
Aliexo
Stims: Aliexo hand flaps, talks backwards on occasion, rubs their arms, and taps their fingers together a lot.
Special Interests: Aliexo has somewhat of a fascination with space, and will spend entire nights just staring up at the stars in the sky. Additionally, they have a very avid appreciation for good music.
