So...anyway, I decided to get back to writing, and I posted a little vignette about Kakuranger since I'm watching the season.
Sekai watches through the rearview mirror. Sasuke's head is on Tsuruhime's shoulder. She hasn't shoved him off yet. He knows the script. But tonight, she's not following it.
I now understand why Sasuke and Tsuruhime are shippable, and I'm on board; they are among my top ten ships in Super Sentai.
My headcanon is that they got together after Ohranger vs Kakuranger; the 30th-anniversary film exists for me but with a few tweaks.
Plus, it's inspired by the art by Takezawa Nomaki, so kudos to the artist, it's on her own web by the same name and perhaps on Pixiv.
I screamed like the fangirl I am when they showed up together in the cowboy fits, my guess is that Jiraiya had the outfits ready from the moment they met.
The only downside for me is that we didn't get them later in 5 layers of plaid.
… And I’m pretty sure that the reason the other three Kakurangers were so late (more than half an hour!) was because someone was dumb enough to let Saizou drive.
In on there news, this film only reenforces my shipping of Tsuruhime and Sasuke. Loved their interactions and that they showed up together!
