So, I've been volunteering at the Shelter for about 7 months now and I can't get over how sweet the animals are - all just looking for cuddles and attention and the same pure love they're ready to give us. Both of these sweethearts are up for adoption. On the left is Poker - male, 5, English springer spaniel mix- and literally all he wanted to do was give hugs and get pets. On the right is Daisy - female, 10, Siberian husky mix- who has been at the shelter an unbelievably long time and really needs a forever family. She is spritely and walks like a young pup. The garden is rather plentiful right now. Last night I made nine mini loaves of zucchini and squash bread and came out to find three more state-fair worthy zucchinis. Any recommended recipes would be greatly appreciated!
