New arrival! Last doll buy of the year - Muffin, a Pukipuki Chichi. I couldn't resist that extremely grumpy little face. The plans I have for her are a bit...intricate, but I think they could work out interestingly, at least.

Sorry for the lack of activity lately, I’ve been more active on my Instagram. Not much going on over there, but I’ve bought a few new dolls (none of whom have arrived yet, but some hopefully soon). I’ll definitely post unboxings when they get here, I promise.

Biggest thing at the moment is that I’m making my Tiny Delf Hansel into a new character. The sculpt is perfect for my character Musette, but I’m not loving the doll as Musette, if that makes sense. So I’m making it over into a new character - a small helpful house fairy, gonna call him Elvy. He’s like a brownie, comes out at night and does small chores and fixes clothes, that sort of thing.

Also, my girlfriend left today for a month-long trip to New Zealand and Australia with her grandma, so I’m gonna have a lot more time for my dolls, until she gets back in December. I’m determined to teach myself to make at least one item of doll clothing before she gets back. I’m also determined to find a stable job. Gotta make money for life stuff.

So yeah, hopefully some updates soon!

I’m really anxious, I finally contacted a seller who I bought a doll from nearly two months ago with an ultimatum to either ship it by the end of next week or just refund me... I’m so scared of confrontation, and I really hope they’re okay, but seven weeks since the money went through is way too long.

Big thank you to @purplemonkfish, @starryfishes, and @albinoravenchild (it wouldn’t let me tag you, sorry!) for answering my question about Fantasy Doll and cheap 1/6 bodies! I think I’ll go for a Fantasy Doll body for my incoming head; even if it ends up being just a placeholder, that price is a fantastic deal.

Doll company questions!

Long story short, I'm in the market for a 1/6 body for a head that's coming in the next month or so, and I found that Fantasy Doll makes a 1/6 body for WAY cheaper than anything else I've seen.

So my questions are: Is this a legit company? If you've ordered from them before, what are the bodies like? And if they're not a good company to buy from, could you recommend a place to get a 1/6 body for under $140?
