Sometimes you don’t listen to a band for an extended period of time. I’m talking like 8 years. But the records evade purge after purge from your collection because their role in getting an adolescent you into punk means you’re sentimentally attached whether you like it or not. And then sometimes you’re sick with nothing to do. I’m talking counting the hours till you can go to sleep and there’s too many to turn in early and too few to really get into some of that good shit cause you gotta be at work for 7 in the morning, you know? So on a whim you decide to give em a spin and somehow they sound even better than they did before you started shaving your head.
