     Tbh I was gonna roll my eyes at this recurring trope of “melungeons are natural medicine ppl only” but then i remembered i grew up in my house --- vinegar was a cure all, we keep bags of peppermint candies around, we’re reluctant to go to the doctors unless absolutely necessary , and the strongest medicine we keep in the house is 500 mg tylenol
