Nᴇʀᴠᴇ-Rᴀᴄᴋɪɴɢ
Emma herself found trouble sleeping in the bed that was given to her. This place seemed to mysterious, and she didn’t even know how to explain what was happening, or where to start investigating. Her mind was everywhere. Why was she here? Why couldn’t she use most of her powers? What exactly was this place’s purpose? She sat up and sighed, rubbed her eyes and stood up. Hearing a loud thump, her heroine instincts were revived. The girl left her room, not wanting to wake the stranger she was assigned as a roommate, she tried to walk quietly as possible.
The hall was dark. Her eyes could see nothing but the blackness that the night gave. Emma heard a door open and immediately ran to it, not realizing that she would be bumping into someone else trying to find the source of the noise.
Emma ran with such a force she knocked the stranger down, and she fell back as well. As soon as she fell, Emma stood back up, and reached her hand out. “Hey, are you alright?” She questioned, in a soft voice, trying to be as quiet as possible.
Shaking and trying her best to not look at the other in any way, she heard the girl say something in a hushed tone. Too scared to comprehend what she had said due to the ringing in her ears, she tried to open one eye and look up, to see what kind of ‘ghoul’ this could be.
Upon further inspection, she realized the one she had just bumped into had a human-like appearance, a very cute and girlish look, boasting pink hair and sparkly eyes. Thinking more about it, though— she’s never heard a ghoul or ghost speak. Maybe the one in front of her was no threat at all.
——— “You.. aren’t a ghost right..”
She asked with a shaky voice, still not sure of her own safety. The girl definitely didn’t look like a threat, though.
