The zigzag road of my writing journey.

Writing was never my thing. I am scared that I might shame myself for writing something wrong, stupid or hard to comprehend. I'm scared to be corrected for it means that I do not know and it doesn't really feel good to be corrected, especially when corrected in a mean way. I'm scared to push through my limits and think imaginatively for I'm thinking that it might not be good enough. These are the reason why I do not like writing.

Entering the paths of English two made me realize that it is not me who felt the same way, but many of us. This encouraged me that if those people overcome their fear, then I can too. In my zigzag journey of writing, my teacher helped and encouraged me and my classmates. It helped me for I am a person who losses hope easily. Many techniques and ways of writing was taught to us. Variety of techniques were used in different writing activities.

Learning not just in writing, but in designing, even though both of them were not really my thing, was fun. I discovered my hidden and deep thoughts. I may not be as good as other people, but I can say that this semester was not a waste for I became better in my writing skills. All thanks to my teacher, classmates and myself.

My favorite space

My most comfortable place, I call my “safe haven” is our living room. A place where you can watch television and lay down comfortably, or you can eat and just joke around with your family. As you enter the door you can already see its entirety. On the both sides of the living room are the couches, on the left side is a longer couch and the opposite side is the shorter. Above-side the brown colored couch, the shorter one, is the window that is covered with green curtain on top and a thin white curtain on the inside. Moving forward is where the television set, that have pictures on sides and little snow globe on top. In the both sides of the tv set are the speakers which we use for music and karaoke. The coffee table is found in the center of the place, where we usually put our food or phones. The family pictures are found just above the wall where the longer couch is. This place is well lit up by the chandelier that is occasionally used.
