As a child, Vidaria had a very solid idea of what her life would be. As the eldest princess of the Land of Mists, she would be the second half of an alliance between the diurnal fae and the human Kingdom of Swords. The other half being the tiny infant human prince she was betrothed to. Though their marriage would be an arranged one, surely it would blossom into love in time.
But centuries later, her life couldn't be more different from her expectations or hopes. Continued war with the humans and nocturnal fae has brought down the Kingdom of Swords and her betrothed is rumored to have perished. The Draconias have annexed the Land of Mists and she now lives as their political prisoner. This alone would be enough to make child Vidaria weep but somehow, despite all this sorrow, she has managed to find happiness. She's made wonderful friendships, found solace in music and her equestrian activities, and has even found love. But what would probably surprise Vidaria the most is something she isn't yet aware of.
The human prince she was once betrothed to? He's still alive, someone whom she sees every day at school, and he's in love with her.

Oh hello there! Welcome to my humble blog! Don’t mind me doing this for all of my characters! The more the merrier!
Ellis - The kind of love you’d find in fairytales? Absolutely she does! Ellis practically dreams of true love most days, being influenced by what she reads and hears. True love just seems so beautiful.....it better happen soon!
Victoria - True Love? Of course she believes in it! Contrary to her other beliefs, Victoria does believe in true love and wholeheartedly thinks that one day, she’ll find true love herself! Sometimes you’ll even see her thinking about it from day to day.
Ivy - Aw! How romantic true love sounds! Ivy absolutely adores the thought of true love and would absolutely love to feel it one day. It’ll come to her sooner or later! She’s sure of it.
Artemis - She supposes she does. The idea of true love hasn’t quite crossed Artemis’ mind much so she’s more neutral on her stance. Artemis isn’t opposed to the idea of true love but it might take her a while before she even thinks about pursuing love or true love for that matter.
Aimée - Of course she does! Love conquers all doesn’t it? True love is in fact out there! And you need her help to find it! Aimée isn’t in the market to find true love for herself at the moment but when the time comes, she’ll fully embrace it!
Gwen - With her growing up reading so many books, Gwen absolutely believes in true love! She’s too embarrassed to say this out loud however. She keeps her yearning for true love inside her, as to not disrupt her duties but she can dream about it!
Hoshiko - True Love does sound a little unrealistic to her but Hoshiko supposes she believes in it! She’s not in a rush to find it but when it comes, they won’t really fight it.
Hikari - True love isn’t really a topic Hikari thinks about much. Romance isn’t really in his vocabulary but if asked, he won’t really give much of a response. He’s neutral on the idea of true love, maybe it will come to him, maybe not! That’s just how it goes.
Alice - Over time, her belief in true love has wavered but she’s seen some instances of true love here and there so hope is not all lost. Alice is content in possibly never finding true love but it wouldn’t hurt her to one day fall in love and have that love be true.
Fabian - He doesn’t seem like the type of guy to believe in such things like true love but deep down, he wholeheartedly believes in it! Maybe he wishes to experience true love in his life at least once but that’s further down the line right now.
Astrid - Oh absolutely! It’d be so wonderful to experience! Astrid is a firm believer in true love (along with love at first sight) so she’s constantly dreaming of true love! It’ll come one day! It has to!
Stella - She’s granted so many wishes about love, seeing how far people would go for the person they love so yes! Stella does believe in true love. To ask if she’s experienced it herself before would be a stretch but she’s wishing to experience true love one day
Odette - She scoffs at the idea of true love but deep down, she desperately wishes it to be real. True love could mean her curse would be broken! But it’s oh so hard to find so she’ll just keep to herself.
Lilith - She enjoys the idea and toys with it but she’s not completely convinced of its existence. Perhaps it will happen to her one day but if it doesn’t, that’s not up to her. Lilith does at least hope for some sort of love in her life at the very least.

Mike desperately wants peace. something that tells him that he can be safe with his sister. to be away from his aunt for a week so he can care for his sister. to have a family again. he holds immense guilt from how quick his family fell apart, and wishes for that peace to return in his life again. as for what they find more appealing? to be loved. to have somebody tell him that they care for him and will be there to give him a day to rest. he needs rest, desperately.
as for Scott, it's love! his own family has gone through so much turmoil with his work and his son - they mean the most to him. it is all that matters to him with his life. not peace, not wealth or power. he only needs love. and like Mike, he wishes to be loved. he commits to his job because he knows just how liable the company is. it's dangerous, and he wants it to be as safe as it can be when new people are employed.

I was reminiscing on the old questions I sent out and was filled with joy by how much it made people happy to talk about their OCs and to get a visit from a tabby kitten!! Wins all around! So I really wanted to do this again, I hope there’s still people out there who want to participate!
And if anyone is wondering how I’m still a kitten after almost 3 years, I’m like the tabby from the movie Keanu, I’ll be a kitten forever!😼😼😼

Don’t ever feel bad if you stop writing. Whether that be temporary or permanent, please don’t feel bad.
I see a lot of people (often on anon) that just expect consistent content from artists/writers/bloggers/etc. It’s okay to take a break. It’s okay to stop all together.
If you stop because you have to focus on school, I support you. If you stop because you are too exhausted from work to write, I support you. If you stop because you need to focus on your mental health, I support you. If you stop because you have writers block, I support you. If you stop because you just don’t get joy from writing anymore, I support you.
Of course you and your content will be missed because you and your content are loved by so many. But putting yourself first is okay. It’s what you should be doing. You don’t owe your readers updates or an explanation or apology if you stop updating. If you want to give them one, that’s totally cool, but don’t feel bad if you don’t. Don’t let greedy people tell you otherwise. Only you know what is best for you, and nobody should tell you that you’re wrong/selfish/lazy for doing what is best for you.
Re logging because I don’t even remember writing this but it made me feel so much better about my own situation right now🥺🥺 Plus I love going back and reading all the tags of people feeling better by reading this post💖💖💖

Her story's set roughly 1000 years in the future, in space!
The general vibe of the song (title, electronic music, etc.) fit with what I imagine the kind of music people're listening to in her world. I could totally see her grooving around to this song with her friends

I was feeling really bad about how I haven’t updated my 2 wip in a long time and the only thing I could think about writing was another first chapter to another NEW fic…
But then I accepted the fact that I need to focus on writing what inspires me and when I’m inspired to write. This is my hobby that I want to keep fun for myself. I guess I’ll just have 3 wip now and hopefully they will each get their turns when it comes to inspiration in writing them.
I hope nobody is too upset I still haven’t updated Love So Golden or Her Brooklyn Love. I will not abandon them forever, I just need to follow my current inspiration.
So I will be publishing a new fic soon, it’s called My Past, Our Future and it’s a Daryl Dixon x OFC fic! I hope people will enjoy!!
This pretty much also sums up why I haven’t been asking questions or reblogging lately. I’ve been down on inspiration for this blog, and I’ve been overworked by my job too, I’m averaging 60hrs/wk. I don’t want to entirely abandon this blog, but I think I will be continuing to take a break here. I’m really sorry and I hope that I can find inspiration to get fully back into it again. I might send some questions occasionally but it won’t be as consistent as when I first started out.
I hope you can forgive and I can’t wait to get back into learning about your OCs, but for now I really want to focus on writing and I am limited on my free time to do both.

This was a day you thought about as a teenager, but you imagined a smile on your face instead of a frown. You imagined the room to be alive with friends and music and your mom. You remember even bringing it up to your mother, asking her about when she got married. As you got older, you realized she probably hid her own lack of happiness on that day to protect you. She didn’t love your father anymore than you loved your future husband.

My fav OCs right now are my 2 I’m currently writing.
Madeline Rogers has lived a long and crazy life. Growing up in the 1930s and then marrying her best friend and love of her life, Steve Rogers, before he “dies.” Then after years of living with fake identities, she finds him again and gets to be her true self once more in the public eye. I like Maddi’s deep care for the people in her life. Since her late teenage years, she doesn’t have any blood family left. Family are the people she meets and loves throughout her life. She would do anything for those people.
Mía Canales is someone I am writing that is closely based on my own life experiences. She is incredibly close with her family but doesn’t get to see them as much anymore due to living in a different city. She has big dreams for herself but worries about her ability to see them happen. Her insecurities are always in the back of her mind, especially as she attempts to make a new friend with Steve Rogers, the regular customer at the cafe she works at.

Okay, so I thought about it a bit and I am pretty certain that this song matches Mira & Ahn very well. I actually think that they both would be super into musicals because Mira dances and Ahn sings a lot so that just fits. It's probably Ahn who starts singing this to Mira and then they do silly re-enactments of this song and laugh a lot after it.

The song itself didn't really strike a chord with me for any of my OCs, but Alanis gives me Pheonix vibes!
I'm certain none of my followers (bar one) know who she is, so I'll explain briefly hehe.
I wrote a story a year or two ago about kids who attend a magical school (like harry potter but gayer), and in the sequel the main character is Pheonix! She's 14, and she can use fire and such. She tries to stay optimistic in front of others, and she's quite selfless, but she had a sorta rough home life before going to the school and she crumbles under stress sometimes.
I feel like songs like Thank You and Hand In My Pocket are her sorts songs!
