With a thought comes an action. With an action comes consequences. With consequences comes conflict. And conflict, when stretched across countless souls and lifetimes, across countless experiences and feelings, is a dangerous thing to behold.

I just realized something life-altering When they leave their AU, most beings have a nickname or "found name" (which, if their AU is a dark one or they're just more comfortable outside of it, they may like to use as their default name). Usually this follows an incredibly basic formula - for instance, Underfell!Sans is often "Red" or "Fell", Drifter!Frisk is "Drifter", etc. But then I've never, EVER seen a solid Found Name for the G!Sanses that are from Echotale. And honestly, G is pretty much his own character now, so I dunno if the "Sans" portion of his names even really fits But "Echog" is NOT a good nickname. It sounds like coughing. No way he's gonna choose THAT name for himself And, this is the funny bit, That only leaves "GEcho" Gecko. He's a gecko now. I don't know what to do with this information
1. Rather than Undertale’s basic battle screen, battles are presented like a game of Galaga or something similar. During the opponent’s attack, your “blaster” is impossible to use (the exception being at the end of No Mercy, where you would shoot Sans in the beginning of his turn, as the equivalent to attacking twice in the original game). At the end of each round, you can either FIGHT, send an ACT signal to the other ship, try to FLEE from the “arena” of battle (unless there’s a gravitational field, which appear mainly in boss fights), use an ITEM, or just let the timer run down without doing anything (which here, will be the act of Mercy).
2. Because they are too far from the sun or other stars, monsters have no way to grow magical plants for food. Because of this, most of their society is facing hunger, and those who are brave enough to venture out into the abyss of open space to harvest food from the distant farms are regarded as heroes… Including Grillby, although his plants just use photons from the mini-stars and fire in his body.
3. Monsterkind is trapped on a tiny cluster of comets, frozen in space by an ancient, human-made graviton-lock (the Lock, as it is more commonly known). While it does a good job of keeping oxygen within the cluster, it also doesn’t like to let go of anyone who enters its fields… Even worse, the comets have drifted too far away from habitable planets for monsters to just break the generator - doing so would simply make gravity stop, and the entire species would be left in the empty void of space. They need the power boost of seven “Human Souls” to move the cluster towards the safety of Earth.
// Okay, but only since you guys are so eager to hear it! //
So I’ve seen a couple different interpretations of “Reversetale” or “Humantale”, any AU where humans are the ones trapped Underground and the Monsters won the war. In most versions of this, people just draw the monsters as humans and the humans as monsters; which I don’t mind! Goat Frisk is cute.
But what if, instead the Underground being filled with human versions of traditional Undertale characters… what if those roles were filled by what little humans we actually know exist in the canon?
Still generally the same story, the protagonist is a monster that falls down into the Underground (a boss monster, possibly a Frisky-looking one) and has to make it through the trials to peacefully free all it’s inhabitants; but for the most part, the roles are being filled by entirely different characters.
Believe me when I say I love everyyyy single fanart I get of Ink but fanart like this is definitely winning over me.
God your art is SO cool!! Thank you SO much, I’m thankful more than words, I love this, and this feels so important to me on so many levels. It should be for everyone I believe!
WHOA WHOA HOLD UP @comyet WE GOTTA TALK (Sorry this is overzealous, you don't have to of course) WHAT WOULD HAPPEN IF A CHARACTER WITH HIGH DT "INSTALLED" A SAVE POINT IN ANOTHER AU AND USED THAT TO COME BACK TO? BECAUSE THERE HAS TO BE A LOOPHOLE RIGHT?
After numerous plug in failures, uncountable crashes, and unbelievable lag, I’ve managed to finally– FINALLY– make that Undertale Orchestral cover I’d been talking about for so long. It’s not as great as I’d like it to be, but if I add anything more to it, I’m pretty sure I’ll literally fry my computer.
I made this completely from scratch, so please reblog the shit out of this, I spent literally all weekend on it.
What if at the end of some Neutral Run calls (especially ones where Undyne or Papyrus are still around), Sans finishes with the line... "i don't know how life on the surface is. that's probably for the best... but..." "it's got to be better than here." "otherwise you wouldn't have... well... no, of course you would've. gotta survive somehow." "still... kid..." "why'd you leave me behind?" Before the phone is taken away...
If you are still doing the OTP thing, I wanna know 28 and 26 of CherryBerry
Yep!… Although you already know that because of this post existing… great job me
Anyway, for your questions:
26. Who whispers inappropriate things in the other’s ear during inappropriate times?
We’re looking at you, Blue… Anyway, yeah, definitely him. Mainly because he knows it’ll make Fell blush like crazy. Blue might act innocent, but… This is the same temporal identity that spiked a bowl of punch with whiskey, created the Friendship Club, and pretty much summoned two demons to defend his title as leader of that club. The cinnamon roll act is just that; an act. What lies beneath the surface… Is a smiling ball of sin and bordering-on-evil plots. Coincidentally, the exact opposite can often be said for Fell; he acts like “the adultiest adult”, like he has extensive knowledge of everything, but NOPE, he spent too much time trying to act cool to actually learn anything
28. What would be their theme song?
This one is… Surprisingly complicated, actually. I think they probably do have “a theme song”, but that’d be a new song on the multiversal soundtrack, so i can’t name that one… But they also have a habit of singing showtunes together! Mostly Disney and cartoons, with a tiny bit of anime mixed in. The song that most exemplifies their relationship, besides their theme, is probably a surreal medley of lyrics from whatever they’re singing lately… But, sadly, we cannot hear this trainwreck MASTERPIECE because they only sing together when they’re alone… EXCEPT, of course, for that one time Chara was hanging out in the vents and videotaped a version of it. They still don’t know who could have possibly uploaded it to Undernet…
EYYY 1, 5, 9, 15, 17, 21, 24, 27, 29, 32, 33 for my OTP CHERRYBERRY (I know this is a lot so you don't have to do all of them of course)
NAH BRO IT’S ALL GOOD, I love this ship too and I think it needs more fluff so HERE YA GO
Gonna put in a read-more so I don’t spam anyone’s dashes tho
ALRIGHT HERE WE GO
1. Who is the most affectionate?
That depends. Usually, Blue is much more upfront about things, while Fell tries to hide it. Blue always seems to know five or more bad pickup lines for every occasion, and is far more expressive of the relationship in general. Fell finds this sweet and adorable, but incredibly embarrassing - unless they’re alone. If there aren’t other people around, he can let his guard down.
5. Who is most likely to carry the other?
Blue. Fell is too lazy to carry him most of the time.
9. Who worries the most?
Fell, by far. He always gets this feeling that something’s going to go horribly wrong… The most common fears are usually that his brother will show up to bring him back home, that nobody actually wants him around and will eventually leave him behind, or that he’ll lose control of his powers and hurt somebody. Also, his diagnosis for anxiety is no secret. It really never was. Blue doesn’t mind one bit, though; although he does understand that it makes life more difficult and stressful, he is more than willing to support Fell no matter what, and has spent countless hours learning about the condition so he can help.
15. Who wakes up first?
Blue is definitely a morning person. Fell, on the other hand, is pretty much dead until he gets his coffee.
17. Who says “I love you” first?
Fell - although it was an accident. Not that he didn’t mean it, of course; he just hadn’t planned on admitting it just yet… Basically, they went on a date one night, and when Blue went home, Fell accidentally added it to the usual farewells. He was too embarrassed about it to talk to Blue for a couple days, unfortunately…
21. What do their friends/family think of their relationship?
The Underswap side of the family is mostly supportive, although at first, Alphys and Papyrus were both skeptical of fell’s intentions. Over time, they’ve gotten used to it. Meanwhile, Fell’s Papyrus is nothing short of NOT OKAY WITH THIS. How dare that little weakling spend time with his brother!… Well, that’s not entirely accurate. If Blue’s a “weakling”, then that’d make Underfell!Papyrus as delicate as an Echo Flower, and he knows it. There have been a few incidents where they have had to fight him off…
24. Who cooks more/Who is better at cooking?
Blue tries to cook a lot more… Emphasis on “tries”. He’s not much good at it. Fell doesn’t cook often, but for some reason, he’s actually pretty good at it.
27. Who needs more assurance?
Again, Fell definitely needs a ton of support. Blue can stand on his own two feet for the most part, but… It’s a good thing he has a contagious smile.
29. Who brings up the idea of kids?
Blue, probably. Honestly, i don’t think Fell would be thrilled about the idea at first… But hey, if he was given the chance to actually meet children other than the walking existential crisis that is Frisk - for instance, maybe helping Blue with babysitting for friend? - I’m 99% sure he’d immediately want one… Or three…
32. One headcanon about this OTP that breaks your heart
Underfell!Sanses have much more difficulty remembering Resets than others, and very rarely can attach emotions to what memories they are left with - meaning that if for some reason Frisk had to Reset, the couple would have to start from the very beginning…
33. One headcanon about this OTP that mends it
Fell’s magic is not just regular combat magic. Underfell denizens have a predisposition for emotion-based magic that operates on the entire color spectrum, rather than just a few basic tones - and, although he’s still not very good at it, Fell’s is extremely powerful. My personal favorite magic type, and the one most relevant here, is his green magic: it is associated with love (not necessarily romantic; platonic and familial love accesses different shades of green, though), and is used for healing. It tends to form in vines and ferns, and Blue thinks this power is absolutely beautiful.
Alright guys I have to get something off my chest, it's probably gonna contrast with a lot of interpretations of Blueberry but I just have to say it I really, REALLY dislike when people say he's helpless or weak. It's just... No. Yeah, he's really nice and sweet, and was originally created to fit into Classic Papyrus' role. But Classic Papyrus isn't helpless, either. He's (sort of) a Royal Guard - and often, his stats are an even 20 ATK/20 DFN! Being a kind person does not mean that you can't defend yourself or don't see the value of learning to fight. It just means that you will use those skills sparingly. Heck, he's training with UNDERSWAP ALPHYS! She wields an axe that's almost larger than her entire body! Even if Blueberry isn't good at magic, he can still definitely rule the battlefield if you give him a strong stick, a rubber band, and a rock. He is not an opponent to be trifled with. Sure, he's probably never actually going to kill anyone - he seems to believe that everyone can be saved, which is good, because we need more of that - but if you hurt his friends, he's not just going to let you get away with it. He'll stop you, fight you, and capture you, probably in less than two minutes. It seems like we're selling him short. Blue is no house of cards, delicate and unstable. He is stronger than you could ever know - at least, if you stay on his good side. Not many people are on his bad side, of course, but that doesn't mean it's not there. He's fiercely loyal, loves his friends dearly, has been to hell and back thanks to all these issues with the multiverse, and refuses to let any of it get him down. Perhaps most importantly, he never wants anyone to feel unloved or alone. Anyone. No matter what they've done. Because he knows that as dark as things get, there will always be a light. You just have to keep walking and find it. That's pretty powerful, if I do say so myself.
So if you’re locked out because, like me, you’ve been in this flower decorated shithole for such a long time that the email you used got terminated by Microsoft and, like me, do not wish to lose the blog you’ve spent years on and “simply make a new one” like our dearest staff suggests, here’s an easy fix!
Get this swell trick–
Your account was terminated, right?
So logically speaking, the email is no longer used, right? Catching on yet?
Yeah, just make a new email with the same exact address as the one you used on for your blog!
You’ll be able to receive the reset email no problem. Yay!
